We initially met James who was very professional yet warm and approachable. During the months, the property was for sale, we came into contact with several of his staff. Once again, they were all very approachable and what we really liked, was the fact that they kept us informed of any viewings etc. James always responded very quickly to our questions even if it were on a Sunday morning! We felt that he was genuinely interested in selling the property on our behalf and not just as a business deal. Thank you James.

We have recently completed on our new home in Leavening. The vendors are overseas so all of our engagement has been with their Estate Agent, RM English. This has been an entirely positive and even enjoyable experience (never thought I would speak so highly of an estate agent!) Sofia and Claire have dealt with all of our queries promptly and efficiently, emailing the vendors where necessary. Sofia has been very helpful and flexible in providing access to the empty house, even to oversee tradesmen visits before the completion date to provide us with quotes for carpets, decorating, etc, as we currently live in the midlands. He was professional and most of all, personable, explaining his thought processes and demonstrating a deep understanding of his craft. We had many frank discussions about the subsequent offers that came in. George was an absolute sweetheart to deal with. He managed the viewing process and dealt admirably with a range of potential buyers keeping me informed at all times. Claire - well what can I say. She is ‘the closer’ - kept a keen eye on the entire chain, opened communication channels with a range of stakeholders. Fantastic. In fact I could not recommend RM English enough. I can't thank James and George enough for all of the work they put in to sell my house and manage what was a difficult and frustrating process with the chain. Where to start? RM English are not your regular Estate Agent. Claire and George looked after the property I was selling as Executor of a Will with some unique circumstances. Claire and George looked after the sale and were friendly and understood the complexities. The whole experience never felt it was ‘about the commission’. Their knowledge of the local market, communication with potential buyers and myself right through to completion was above and beyond. Completion was two weeks ago now and yesterday Claire went out of her way to deliver a sentimental item that was accidentally left at the property to a relative.
