From the first point of contact to the end of the purchase/sale, I would highly recommend Mayer Estate. We initially had Scott to evaluate our home back in January 2025 but we still needed to do some work in the house to complete and we had some issues along the way but we were determined to put our house on the market. When it came to end of September/beginning of October, we were ready to put the house on the market where we met Sarah who was really friendly and explained the process to us. The house attracted a lot of viewings and we managed to sell within a week which was amazing and quicker than we thought. We had already put an offer into 2 houses we really liked which was shown by Abby who was really knowledgeable and friendly. When we accepted our offer for house, we got accepted on our home that we really loved and could see our family growing up in that home. Then we made another viewing where we met Ella who was friendly and helped us out through the process of buying and selling. If we needed something chasing then Ella would really help us with this on our behalf. At one point, I popped into the office because the buyers solicitors were being funny about some paperwork and our solicitors wasn't helping much so Ella dealt with this for us. On Friday 16th of January, we finally moved and we couldn't have done all of this without Mayer Estate Agent. I would definitely use again if we need to in the future and I would definitely recommend which I have already mentioned to a few people already.

I cannot recommend enough! I recently sold my home through Mayer Estate Agents. Kelly came to the house to look around and discussed the selling points. I explained to her that we were looking at a specific house on the market and this was the only reason for selling. I also explained that if this specific property were to become unavailable, we may consider taking our off the market. This did not phase Kelly and she was more than happy to continue the process. Kelly came back a couple of days later to take photos for the advert and the 360 degree virtual tour. She was very efficient with this so was done by the time I returned from my dog walk. The photos looked great and showed the house off and the virtual tour made it very easy to get an idea of the house layout. A little over a week went by with several viewings for the house. I was frequently updated about these viewings and Kelly made sure to fit these in between my irregular shift pattern. After a couple of viewings we received our first offer. I explained to Kelly that this offer would not work with our budget for the onward purchase and Kelly agreed that the offer was a bit low. She went back and forth with the prospective buyer on my behalf and aimed to get us a better offer. She was able to get us a better offer but this still did not work with our budget. Regardless, she was still very quick to phone or email me with updates. At this time, I had put an offer in to the property I had my eye on. They obviously would not fully accept without my house being sold, but they gave us a week's grace and took it off the market. A week later, we received a more realistic offer but it was still £2,000 under what I had in mind. However, we were on the last day of the above mentioned grace. Instead of turning down the offer, or recommending we agreed to it, Kelly called the onward chain and asked if they would also accept £2,000 less to ensure the sale and purchase was affordable to us. She then came to us with these revised details which we accepted. I feel this is something Kelly absolutely did not have to do but her proactiveness and problem solving went above and beyond and meant we could happily take the offer that was on the table. I've been raving about this to anyone who will listen. Throughout the conveyancing, the whole team were brilliant with giving me updates over the phone or email and effective in organising follow up viewings and surveys at the request of the buyer. Getting in touch when I needed them was also SUPER easy! Getting in touch with the bigger estate agents (I won't mention which) has previously been a huge struggle. They are not available when you call and don't return calls until a lot later in the day. Mayers either answered my call straight away or called me back within minutes. I've recently exchanged and could not have been more pleased with their service. I will be recommending them to everyone I know and will be returning if we look to move again.

We sold with Mayers in October completing in early January. Sarah was straight talking with her approach and i appreciated she wasn't out to make me promises just in order to take on our property. Selling was the easy bit the rest of the process started plain sailing but became stressful at times (through no doing of Mayers). Sarah and Kelly were happy to help as much as they could to get things back on track so it proceeded as smoothly as possible. Mayers work incredibly hard, it can become incredibly emotive but you know they care, i could not be happier with them as our chosen agents.

I have recently sold my house with Mayer estate agents. I was impressed by Sarah the first time I met her, she was friendly and knowledgeable. She was upbeat and told me what her vision for selling the house would look like and instilled confidence! She had a clear plan on pricing to achieve what I wanted. This initial appointment was a refreshing experience, the other estate agent companies that came over were not near her standard and lacked in all areas. Sarah arranged for photos and created the advert very promptly. Due to her product I had a large volume of interest in the house which she managed without causing me any fuss or inconvenience. As a result of this I received a number of offers in the price ranges I hoped and expected and was able to identify the best buyer for my property. The house sold within 3 days of being advertised!! Sarah and her team met all expectations in this process and then far exceeded them in the coming months when I faced challenges with problems in the chain. Sarah and her team went over and above working extremely hard to ensure the chain didn’t fall apart and we’re in constant communication with me to keep me updated. Throughout the whole process Sarah was contactable and helpful. I cannot recommend Mayer estate agents enough! Their pricing was unmatchable by other known estate agents! The service, tenaciousness and knowledge is also unbeatable! I have had a great experience and have been telling everyone I know that Mayer is the company to use when selling!
