Selling your house can be stressful at the best of times, particularly when you have spent a lot of money and effort creating a family home. When you decide to sell, there can be an emotional tie to the property, which makes it difficult. You invite agents round and then have to decide who is best for the job. The big brand names come to the fore with huge promises of marketing effort and viewers within days! Regrettably I believe this hype and signed up to it but my experience was not synergistic with the promises……until we signed with WILSON and co! The first thing we noticed was the professionalism of the photography. Forget iPhone pictures or digital camera efforts, a professional photographer with an outstanding amount of equipment came and took wonderful pictures, aerial shots and a video of the area leading up to our driveway. They were so much better. The photographs showcased our home properly and made it look the inviting immaculate property that we had spent so much love and care on. This was followed by intense marketing effort by the owner himself who posted on all the relevant social media sites not within not just within the immediate geographic area but also within the commuter belt He used his connections with local newspapers to ensure that we got coverage in relevant publications and he marketed our home to his entire database and beyond using his professional network to connect with other agents to investigate all opportunities It was in my opinion over and above and we were kept fully informed at all times The diligence of verifying buyers was thorough. Other agents swallowed up the lies given by perspective buyers and did not execute thorough financial checks which meant a number of failed sales. We frittered months away on hopeless prospects and despite our request to keep the property live, the agents did not continue with any effort whilst we wasted time on prospects who couldn’t afford our home. This was not the case when Wilson And Co managed our property When our purchaser was found, checks were executed and verified. There were a number of teething problems, but the Wilson team managed it all for me. I am by very nature a worrier and given the historical poor customer service experience, I still felt nervous. However, I didn’t need to be. The professional team at Wilson and Co managed everything through from offer to sale with competence and ease. Until the sale was assured, they did not take my property off the market. My one regret…. Believing the hype of the big brands, brands that market prestigious homes, the promises of a sale within three months and to be honest, numerous bending of the truths. Not only did Wilson And Co get me a sale that I felt happy with they took all the pressure from me and marketed in an effective manner. Don’t listen to the hype…. save yourself the stress and just put your house on the market with the Wilson and Co. They are highly recommended!!!!

I have been really impressed with Jo. She accommodated my request to view the house 4 times. She liaised with the seller so I didn't need to involve the solicitors in regards to a fridge that was going to be left behind, so that saved me money. I found her to be honest, attentive with her email responses and calls. She also answered all of my crazy questions as a first time home buyer and made me feel at ease during one of the most stressful processes a person can go through.

We chose to use Wilson & Co based on our first meeting with James. Unlike other estate agents who are usually very coy about fees, hidden extras, and who promise the earth, James was very straightforward, open and professional. The photo package, web listing and social media preview videos for the property are really well done and we had a sale agreed literally days after the property was marketed. Jo then progressed the sale through with regular updates, all the way through to completion. The most impressive thing about Wilson & Co was the fact that the did everything that James promised they would do. Whenever we rang up, if we couldn’t get hold of the person we needed, someone else in the office was more than happy to help, and also everybody rang back when they said they would, which is virtually unheard of with many estate agents! We would definitely recommend Wilson & Co to anyone looking for an estate agent. They are a refreshing and professional example of how the industry should be.

I am pleased to say that I had the pleasure of dealing with Dan and Jo at Wilson & Co and the service was over and above what we would normally have expected from a local estate agent.
