Can not recommend Basel highly enough, with his experience and wealth of knowledge of the housing market, he & his team dealt with some difficult situations professionally & helped the sale of a house go smoothly, keeping us updated every step of the way. 5* rating from us.

Basel and his team found a buyer for a recently deceased elderly relative's property within a couple of weeks of it being placed on the market. Basel was also very helpful in arranging clearance and a deep clean of the property as well as finding a contractor to do some repairs to the conservatory. This was invaluable as I and other relatives live a considerable distance from Peterborough. I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Homes about.

I had a fantastic experience with Homesabout Estate Agents & Lettings Ltd. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient from start to finish. They made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free, always keeping me informed and providing clear, helpful advice. Their knowledge of the market and attention to detail really stood out, and it was clear they are dedicated to delivering a high standard of service. Communication was always prompt and reassuring, which made a real difference. I would highly recommend Homesabout Estate Agents & Lettings Ltd to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy letting and estate agent. A truly five-star experience!

Basel and his team worked very hard to keep us warm over the Christmas season, we had boiler issues that affected the heat in the apartment. He continued to hear our grumbles and supported us throughout the process and we are so grateful to the Homesabout team and their great service!! Thank you Basel and Paula for your understanding and excellent service - I recommend Homesabout because they are experienced, professional and really listen to your needs and get the job done - can't thank you enough, 5 stars all round.

Homesabout were recommended to me and the service I have received has been impeccable. I live abroad and the time zone difference meant we only had a few hours of the day in which we could communicate. Basel ensured communication was clear and concise, making himself available to talk me through each step of the sale process at the times I requested. I never thought selling a house would be this smooth and easy, but I owe that all to Homesabout. Thank you Basel!

I used Homesabout Lettings when I moved to Peterborough ten years ago and I am happy to say that the services they provided were exemplary and one of the reasons I stayed at my rented property for ten years. As someone who had never rented before Basel and his team provided a professional service and always went above and beyond. If something was broken or needed repairing Basel always ensured it was assessed within 48 hours of being reported and his network of tradesmen not only got the job done but to a very high standard and never with any complaints. Over the past ten years it has been a pleasure being a tenant with Homesabout. There are many estate agents in Peterborough but only a few which offer an outstanding service to match Homesabout. Without a doubt I highly recommend their services to young people wanting to rent after moving out from home and anyone who wants a professional service with a friendly team always willing to help

Basel and the team have been incredible for the whole of our sale and purchase. They've been patient, professional, and excellent at keeping us informed. There were complications during the sale caused by our buyer, and Homesabout were brilliant at helping us to keep up to date with what was going on. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to anyone.

What can I say about homesabout and a certain Mr Maksani that has not already been said before as without them this journey of buying a house would have been the worse experience of my life. I can speak from first hand experience that Bas has always gone above and beyond what is expected of him he is always been approachable and made this process a lot more durable than it would have been. I owe a lot to Bas in getting this move across the line and will be forever grateful for his help. I would definitely recommend using homesabout if you want an estate agent that is willing to listen to your needs and chase up on your behalf without having the feeling that your constantly fighting with them to get the job done which I have experienced beforehand.

We recently bought a property marketed by Homesabout. Basel was excellent with communication, constantly updating us with any news and dealing with any concerns or issues immediately. From the start of the buying process till the end, Homesabout provided a professional yet friendly service, even making sure we settled in okay in our new home. We would definitely recommend Homesabout for sellers looking for a quick sale and buyers looking for a quick purchase, as there was no time wasting with them. Thank you once again for your service.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

I'm moving out of my current property due to damp and mould that the landlord refuses to get checked out and fixed. The landlord has got homes about to market the property. Basel was very rude and intimidating and when I told him I didn't feel comfortable with him coming to my home due to the pandemic and the fact we have a small baby under 1 he threatened me that I have to let him in regardless. He then proceeded to come round after he had been to hospital and didn't follow Covid guidelines. He told me it was my fault we have damp and mould even though a roofer has been over and said it looks like there is loose capping on the outside (which the landlord never followed up on). The mould is so bad we've had to move our 8 year old in with our baby and he told me that it's my fault and I need to leave all my windows open and my heating on throughout the day even when I'm not home. Every encounter with him he has been rude and talked down to me. He talks over you and basically tells you as a tenant you don't have any rights when it comes to the property. He's vile.NegativeProfessionalism

We have been renting with homesabout for nearly a year now and they have been brilliant with communication ever since we first viewed the property. Any issues we have ever had have been sorted very quickly and it’s not difficult to get in touch with the team. Basil is brilliant with checking in to make sure we’re okay especially with the pandemic and we’ve had no issues whatsoever, Paula and Tina are always super efficient and quick on emails and are lovely and friendly. We would most definitely rent with them again if we ever decided to move :)PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Basel was extremely helpful when purchasing my first flat, answering any and all questions I had about the process, even outside of office hours. He continued supporting me following completion by answering my questions about the flat block once I had moved in. I used their solicitors, Taylor Rose, who were responsive and helpful. Basel would contact my solicitor on a four weekly basis on his own accord for an update and forward this on to me. Highly recommend both Homesabout and their solicitor Taylor Rose.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Went to Basel to sell my flat in Peterborough. Basel was excellent at communicating with me at all steps of the sale. The first buyer actually fell through and Basel managed to secure a second buyer within 24 hours which massively helped get the sale through. I would recommend Basel and his team to get the job done for you and get your house, listed, viewed and sold. I would definitely use Homes About again! Thanks Basel.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I instructed Basel at Homes About to assist me with a difficult tenant and subsequent house sale. From our first contact, Basel was extremely helpful and talked me through all of my options as a landlord. My tenant had mistreated my property and took no responsibility for the condensation issues, despite a full Council report being prepared confirming that they were fully responsible. They left my property a mess, with broken furniture, missing items and a severe mould issue. I would urge anyone reading the reviews to ignore the one left by Abby I. She was my tenant and I can honestly say that everything she has said is untrue and damaging to a local estate agent that has over 20 years experience in his field. Since exiting my property, Basel then assisted me with providing advice on refurbishments and this lead to a quick sale with very satisfied new owners. I would highly recommend Basel and the Homes About team.PositiveProfessionalism
