I’m based in England and arranged a viewing for a holiday let property in Wales. The property is only eligible for sale as a holiday let, so I naturally requested to see the accounts. I was told these would only be shared after a viewing. I explained that I live five hours away, and that I would only consider travelling if the financials aligned with what I was looking for. I was eventually sent a vague and uninformative spreadsheet, which didn’t offer much clarity. Still, I decided to make the trip. Upon arrival, I was casually informed that the property does not have planning permission and is in fact at risk of demolition, a glaringly crucial detail the agents had failed to mention. Following the visit, I emailed with further questions and clarifications, still open to the idea of a purchase despite the circumstances. This was ignored. I chased. Again, ignored. I then sent an email expressing my disappointment, also ignored. The level of unprofessionalism is staggering. The agents appear not to understand the basics of what they’re doing, and worse still, have no idea how to handle an issue or complaint when it arises. They had me drive across the country, from England to Wales, to view a property that they then went completely silent about, and conveniently neglected to mention a fundamental legal issue that directly affects the viability of the purchase. It’s a complete waste of my time, effort, and expenses, and shows a total disregard for potential buyers. If this is how they operate during initial enquiries, I dread to imagine the chaos of actually trying to complete a sale with them and the radio silence they would just drop on you when an enquiry is outside of their competence, and the surprise details likely to emerge at the end of the process.

I rang through to enquire about the land for sale owned by the council situated adjacent to Front Street Pembroke but the lady who answered was lacking good sales etiquette unfortunately. Anyway I only wanted to know what business rates would be payable on the land but she didn't seem to know what I was talking about. She ended the conversation in a rush stating that, obviously this information would take a day or 2 find out and that she would call me back As you may have gathered I haven't heard anything whatsoever. Do they want to sell the land or not? Quite disappointing I will now contact the council myself to find out....

This long established estate agency has great local knowledge. They provided a professional, friendly service and we were really happy with the outcome when we recently sold our cottage. I am very pleased with the sale and would highly recommend this company.

Not a very helpful chap on the desk. Loads of properties on the boards but never asked what I was interested in. He gave me the distinct feeling of not being bothered at all. I won't be doing business here
