House sale Review

We used Jackson stops for the first time in January to sell our property. We chose Jackson Stops because Anthony was extremely professional, felt he was very honest and not a pushy agent.Our house sold within 24 hours of going live and exchanged contracts 7 days later.The photos and video that were taken are fantastic and attracted alot of attention very quickly which led to the speedy sale.We have already recommended Anthony and the team to friends as we are so happy with their service. Thankyou for all your help and attention that went into the sale and completion of our house! We will definitely be back if we ever have a property to sell.

Excellent, reliable service

We recently purchased a property through Jackson-Stop and Neil was our broker on this particular sale. Throughout the process, Neil was communicative, responsive and always made us feel like we were a priority. Managing a sale between seller and buyer can often be challenging, but Neil has a flair for meeting the needs of all parties and keeping everyone focused on reaching the best possible outcome. Overall a fantastic white-glove experience and when it comes time to list ourselves, we will be looking to Jackson-Stops.

There are good estate agents out there...!

Having experienced the worst of estate agency (many times !) it was a pleasure to experience the best for a change. The old saying of you get what you pay for is certainly true - except the terms agreed with Jackson-Stops were very reasonable for what you get.From the outset, dealing with Neil and the team at Woburn was very professional and reassuring and you knew you were in the hands of people who were very experienced and knew what they were about. Having secured the sale we had been yearning several years for we then saw the real value of dealing with people who you can trust which is the very stressful post sale progression through to exchange of contracts.I highly recommend Jackson-Stops at Woburn.

The BEST estate agents

Having been ignored by the previous agents handling my property (a 'high value', high street stalwart) I was a little apprehensive about joining a new agency. I needn't have been: Mandy and the team at J-S Cranbrook were fantastic from start to finish. The communication was outstanding with regular updates and feedback. At the outset, I received excellent advice to boost the value. There was thorough vetting of viewers to ensure no time-wasters. I felt my hand was securely held at every step. Perfect House - Jackson Stops Exeter - Thank You !

In May 2020 we found our perfect house to realise our dream to relocate from Essex to Devon. Luckily for us, the property was on the market with Richard Addington and his team in Exeter. Whilst it may seem unusual for a purchaser to write a review their handling of this sale, that finally completed in early January 2021, would have been unlikely to have concluded without the team. An absent vendor living in Asia made the transaction a little bit more complicated on top of the COVID restriction placed on us all. Richard communicated regularly and arranged access for surveys swiftly and effectively. He managed time zones and communication within the short, but at times complex chain with ease. To summerise, Richard and his team are highly-capable with a wealth of experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to my family and friends.

An excellent experience from start to finish

Jane Bishop was wonderful throughout this difficult process (the sale of my late mother's house during lock down presenting both emotional and practical issues). She was easy to approach, she was quick to respond to messages, she went above and beyond in helping: for instance, she ensured that an agent went to the house weekly (even if there was not a viewing) to check on it for insurance purposes as it was an empty house. She facilitated the removal of some contents to local charities. And the house sale went through smoothly from one of the early viewings, achieving the asking price. Jane was exemplary throughout, and did not relinquish her attention to detail even after the house was under offer.

Lesley from Jackson Stops is the best

We have moved around a lot and dealt with some of the worst people in this industry. But as a new tenant and having the little things ironed out and fixed as soon as humanly possible, Lesley Coppack has been absolutely outstanding. We are not sure if this is a function of not being in inner city London or what, but I don't want that to detract from Lesley's speed of service and all around competence to do a stellar job. I'd use Savills instead!

We attempted to sell our £2m+ house through them this summer. We used them as they were local and seemed to have a decent selection of properties in our area. 16 weeks after putting our house on the market and 12 weeks after accepting an offer, the 'cash buyer' Jackson Stops presented us with still didn't have their finances and paperwork in place. The agents did very little to check on progress and only upped their game after we complained (7 weeks after accepting an offer) about lack of action on their part. Sporadic communication and a sense that they weren't really acting on our behalf. And not enough staff either in the office to deal with questions or to conduct viewings in a timely manner. We pulled the deal after 12 weeks and will use Savills instead. Jackson Stops seem undynamic and sleepy compared to other agents when we were buying. Savills were far more proactive in their contact and their communication was much better both before and after a deal was agreed.
