It has felt like a long process as there have been a few bumps in the road, but Ryder and Dutton were very good at communicating. Zoe initially looked after us very well and was great at getting back to us. Once the sale and purchase process was fully underway, we were passed to Geraldine Marsden who was also very available and chased the relevant parties as required. Thank you Ryder and Dutton!

GoogleThe team at Ryder and Dutton guided us through the application process for our new home. We live 300 miles away so there were some logistical challenges but the team - especially Lizzie - couldn’t have been more reassuring, friendly and helpful. Communication was first rate throughout with emails and calls answered quickly. We were given regular updates. Thank you to all for making the whole process stress-free.

WORST ESTATE AGENT IN THE COUNTRY. Absolute shocking Estate Agents. DO NOT USE. They charge the highest fees in the industry and provide the worst service possible. They made an absolute mess of everything, very poor communication and didn’t return my calls or emails. Really struggled to get my fees back as they demanded more and more fees. Will never use again. STAY AWAY FROM RYDER AND DUTTON UNLESS YOU WANT A POOR SHODDY SERVICE AND WANT TO PAY EXTORTIONATE FEES. UPDATE 12 DECEMBER 2024The PRS Property Redress Scheme has now ruled in my favour and awarded me a substantial amount of compensation. Ryder and Dutton cannot charge £150 every time they want to send a contractor out for a quote. Ryder and Dutton cannot charge £185 to change 2 batteries in a smoke alarm. The fees Ryder and Dutton estate agents charge are horrendous and unfair.
Good Morning Mr Williams,We are obviously disappointed to read your review even if it is perhaps not unexpected. As we have said through our many communications you have a duty of care as a landlord to provide a property of good standard and tend to repairs that ensure your tenant is able to enjoy quiet enjoyment of their home. It was a great shame that you were unable to do this and that we needed to then negotiate the early exit of the tenant from the property which we managed to successfully do on your behalf. We wish you the best of luck with whichever agent you decide to market your property with next but would encourage you to consider your responsibilities as a landlord before doing so. Thank you for making us aware that you have put in a claim with the Property Redress Scheme as unfortunately we have not had any communication from them. We are in the process of querying why they have not contacted us in relation to your complaint for us to provide our side of the story. I can see that despite us not being able to put our side of the story across they have found against you and have actually agreed with our stance on your complaint that you raised directly with us previously. This is reflected in the small amount of money that you have been awarded which was awarded to you as communication could have been better in some small areas. As for the figures that you are quoting above, we have not sent contractors to the property to change batteries in a smoke alarm and our contractors do not charge £150.00 to go out and quote so I am unsure how you have arrived at these figures.Best Wishes The Team at Ryder & Dutton

Ruth and Stacey have been amazing along with the rental team always updating me and working in my corner as a Landlord.A shout out to accounts who always get back to me with queries I have. I would 100% recommend them if you are thinking of renting 5 star girls thank you. I recently sold the property via sales Ella , Paulina and the team have been helpful and kept me informed along the way thank you Ryder Dutton for years of service.

No matter who I spoke to within the team, Conor, Jade or Michaela, each of them understood my questions and were able to provide answers within a short timeframe. I was kept informed of progress with my property purchase at all times, so I knew exactly what was happening and could therefore plan accordingly. Maxine was a great help too, spending all day showing me numerous properties that matched my criteria, whilst saving the best until last. And it was well worth the wait, because my offer on that property was accepted the following day. In short, a great customer centric team within the Ryder & Dutton company, and one I would thoroughly recommend. Thank you all.

I contacted Ryder & Dutton as a landlord looking to rent out my property. My previous agent was struggling to find tenants. Ryder & Dutton were very professional & helpful from the start. Our lettings agent Leann Green was very knowledgeable, friendly and progressed things very quickly. Leann was always approachable and arranged for the photos to be taken quickly, property advertised and arranged viewings efficiently. Excellent experience with Ryder & Dutton, by far the best agent in the Oldham area with excellent staff.
