Excellent Estate Agent

If you’re looking for an estate agent who’ll stick with you through thick, thin, and apparently all four seasons… this is the one! Our house move took 13 months to complete but throughout the entire saga Lacey remained proactive, passionate, and incredibly helpful. She was always approachable, understanding, and genuinely cared about getting us over the finish line. Now, was she a little annoying at times? Absolutely, but only because she never stopped chasing, checking, calling, and nudging everyone involved. Looking back, that persistence is probably the reason we finally got the keys! Lacey, you coming to the house warming or what?

Worst experience for a first-time buyer

We were very excited when the staff told us our offer had been accepted, but we did not know that it was just a joke to us. The staff updated us by phone and told us the seller accepted our offer and asked me to send them all the bank statements, and other information they needed and pay them to find a solicitor. We thought everything should be alright, but they called us yesterday and told us the seller had not accepted our offer yet!? I asked them how it was possible; their answer was they had not received the documents we sent two days before and one of the staff who took the phone told me they received them. When I tried to call them all their answer was "I do not know" or "My colleagues have not passed it to me yet". Last but not least, we already got a solicitor doing the confirmation and they told me we can still use their service to find another house. I do not think it is making any sense! That is truly awful to a first-time buyer who needs your help and you did it in a "perfect" way. This was planned to be a five-star comment but that seems like a total disaster to me now.

First Class Service

I have just ‘ exchanged contracts’ on my deceased mother’s house in Simmondley as I write this and all I can say is Ryder & Dutton offer an outstanding service and I wish this estate agency stretched to the Wirral.From meeting Damien O’Grady who valued the family house (and it was Ryder & Dutton we chose from meeting a number of estate agents) to the first class service I have received especially from Ryan Jackson (he is a credit to this estate agency)Although I could use the tracker to keep in touch as to who had offered for our family house and how the sale/searches were going it was the personal touch from Ryan that counted. Ryan was extremely professional but friendly. He understood the decisions I made as to why I had chosen particular buyers and emailed but certainly kept in touch with phone calls as to how the house sale was progressing. I especially valued this, as not living in the area, it was difficult to not pop into the estate agents. I found it easier having Ryan ‘in the know’ rather than contacting our solicitor. Ryan’s full support enabled the house sale to go through extremely smoothly and I will always be extremely thankful for his help and support.

Reliable efficient Estate Agent

It is rare to find such a good Estate Agent. All the staff at the Slaithwaite branch, including Nichola Wain, Laura Watts, Leanne, Martha and Kim were fantastic. I appreciated how helpful they were, especially Nichola who rang me every week for regular updates and was patient throughout. I would recommend them to anyone. They did a great job of the photos too.

I always use Ryder and Dutton find there pricing to fair and they have a good network and viewings come thick and fast, they also have an app which makes it easy to nanage bookings. I let Lewis at the Chadderton branch take of all the viewings this made it a smooth no fuss process. There is always someone to answer any questions you may have. Buying with Ryder & Dutton was a bit of an experience of two halves. I'll start with the positives. Once we'd had an offer accepted, Nichola was super-responsive, easy to contact, and gave us timely updates from the sellers. Up until that point, James was also contactable and really clued up on what was out there. Ultimately it was his advice that meant we even considered offering on this house.On the flip side - though I have no written evidence - I do feel strongly that James tried to play us on the day our offer was accepted. The house hadn't been viewed for weeks, then all of a sudden a mystery buyer came in and offered £10k more than us. We refused to budge, and hey presto by the end of the day the seller's had accepted our offer anyway. It's not impossible, but it seems unlikely.Overall, I'd say my experience was good. And if I was selling, I'd probably definitely recommend them because they might get you an extra £10k.
