The filters on Rightmove are not effective.I searched for properties that were not shared, but was shown dozens of such properties including Student houses which were obviously for sharing. Such a waste of my time.

We're sorry to hear the filters are still showing properties you don't wish to see, we can absolutely pass the feedback on to our Development Team for you. The reason that house shares and student properties will still show in the search result is all dependant on how the Estate Agent uploads the property to Rightmove. Some Estate Agents will manually load their properties and others will use third party systems to upload them, where they may not have mandatory options for house shares and student accommodation. We encourage the Estate Agents to upload these properties accurately for home hunters, but as there are no regulations in place, as long as it is clear in the property advert, they are allowed to upload the property this way.
