Their website is a joke

Their website is a joke, I cannot log in saying with it saying "email address and password are incorrect" even though it is the Google saved information from when originally registered and logging in, So I try password reset and get "email address not recognised" Which is odd as they send emails to that email address! reminding me about the properties I was watching (which I cannot log at as I cannot log in)

Excellent service!

Bryony and Stephen were excellent from the Leeds office. I was very nervous selling a property through auction, but they reassured me and walked me through the process. They communicated with me weekly on progress, how many people had requested the pack/ registered to bid, and what I could expect on the day. I felt that they held my hand throughout and gave solid, honest advice. On the day, I was able to live stream the auction and if also felt like the auctioneer was doing the very best for the clients, he was trying to get the best price for each property and my property sold for quite a bit more than the guide price. I was over the moon! I would absolutely recommend the Auction House and their team. Thank you!

Very easy and honest throughout.

Very easy process throughout, James Pank was very approachable, polite and most importantly honest regarding the auction of our flat. It was a difficult one to sell due to issues with the lease, but James guided us through the process and everything went smoothly.Our contact Stephen was great at keeping us informed about how the pre auction planning was going including arranging viewing days. He then let us know how the viewing had gone and whether there had been interest in the legal pack. On the day of auction James rang and said honestly there had been very little interest and he may need to withdraw the property from the auction, but later that day he rang back to let us know it had sold and a few grand over the reserve.The whole process was so easy, definitely recommend The Auction House.

An excellent experience with Dean at The Auction House

I have sold a number of my own houses in the past but never through the auction process. It was my brother's property which had become run-down and he was justifiably anxious about putting it up for auction. Dean, from The Auction House, was open, frank and realistic from the start and gave me great confidence throughout the process. The turn-around was efficient, prompt and the advertising to prospective buyers was impressive, attracting a number of interested parties. Although I was concerned about the reserve price being worryingly low, Dean was correct in his prediction as the property sold for more than half as much again. My brother was delighted with the outcome. I highly recommend Dean and his team and I would have no hesitation about using The Auction House again.

Groundbreaking experience

From the moment we were indroduced to Olivia Boulting from Auction House South West we new we were in capaple hands.Olivia handled my Mothers Auction seamlessly from beginning to end, she obviously had many properties within the September Auction to deal with, but still managed to take the time to reassure myself and my Mum that she would do her level best to sell Mum's property, which she did with tenacity and flare, Olivia managed to squeeze the best price for Mum on the day. Great Outfit to deal with

I dealt with Lukas in Staffordshire to sell my grandfathers property. He was excellent from start to finish in helping me navigate the sale which had fallen through several times previously with other agents / auctions. Whilst the property failed to meet the reserve on the actual auction day Lukas secured a sale outside of this at a price very close to the reserve and the sale completed in 28 days

Scam

Scam. They lure you in with 'national in person auctions and huge success stories with quick sales. They say they will put your property on the auction but dont. Then when you dont get on the auction and want to stop the process they hit you with a 'withdrawl fee' for marketing costs plus other fees. I dealt with Mat and Eilidh. I even tried to speak to the Director but was told they 'are too busy for phone calls'... all they did was put the flat on Rightmove and try sell it with exorbitant agent fees on the market not at an Auction... why? Because they dont want to ruin their stats that they wax lyrical about to lure you in on the first place... What waste of time, energy & money.

Second time bidding and first time buying. It’s a simple process and there’s no chance of not getting a bid in or missing a chance to bid. It was tad overwhelming, no fault of Auction house though. When you’re spending well over 6 figures on the fall of a hammer…..!! I’m sure like all things the more you do it the easier you feel.
