awful experience the description was not as accurate as it should have been it is very disappointing. The Consumer Rights Act 2015, Transparency and Accurate Descriptions Auctioneers and sellers have a legal obligation to provide accurate and transparent descriptions of the items being auctioned.

Purchased a property prior auction which had a demanded maximum 14 days completion instead of the usual 28 day. Solicitor did in 8 days, however after having to pay a total of £3400 (both ours and the vendors auction fees) Auction House refused to meet us with the keys to our property on the day of completion as it was a 40 minute drive away (even though they were happy to do this journey a few occasions for viewing purposes) once they sold the property they didnt want to know and service was practically none existant! Instead they made us drive 45 mins to fetch the keys but we could only fetch them 4 days after completion as they had to take the keys to a different estate agents. So, they were happy to drive and take the keys elsewhere but not to give the keys to the new owner. So to say we had to pay £3400 we didnt get good service to justify that amount! When a house purchase completes, the new owner should receive the keys to their new home the same day .... not 4 days later after having to drive 45 mins to fetch the keys themself. This was the first and will be the last time we buy through Auction House.
