Great service given by Sherry Fitzgerald especially Tony Kavanagh and Lorraine Scully in the buying and selling of a house earlier this year. It is a very stressful time but having a knowledgeable , professional and approachable team to work with made the expeience so much better . Highly recommend them .

TrustpilotUnprofessional - never stick to commitment
I recently purchased a house through Sherry and my experience was worse (D15). While buying a house is a life event for most, the folks here has absolutely no consideration to that fact. They did not want to show me the house for final walkthrough which I had to argue with them. They lied to me that they had the entire house keys so I released the funds, however, they gave me literally just a single main door key. I had to follow up for 5 days, and multiple phone calls to receive the entire set of keys. After all this, it took 3 weeks for them to remove the 'Sold' board in front of the house. If you are looking for an agent, please do not consider Sherry, instead consider other agents who are more professional and friendly.

Abysmal Customer ExperienceOur experience with Sherry FitzGerald Tallaght was poor, unprofessional and incredibly stressful.The Tallaght Branch Manager intentionally made a false representation in relation to a condition of the sale and purchase of the property. This representation relates to a contingency plan for the vendors to move out, so there would be no delay on their part in holding things up.In a follow up phone call that focused on this representation the Branch Manager became irate, abusive, and insulting, during this time he taunted us about ever getting into the house. Needless to say this behaviour was not the professional service we expected from a supposed premium estate agency. Regrettably we have also engaged SherryFitz in the sale of our own property. We wish we went with DNG.When our complaint was brought to the attention of SheryFitz Head Office, no meaningful apology was forthcoming nor any real attempt at resolving the matter. Furthermore, when we eventually moved into our new home the vendors had removed an array of fixtures and fittings contrary to sale agreement. SherryFitz would not respond or engage with this issue.Save your money, premium price, poor service.

Having purchased a property from sherryfitzgearld ,Renovated it and then went back to the office to whom I purchased from,and asked would they be interested in marketing our property,only to be messed around by the principle of sherry fitgearld,traveling a hr to leave a key available ,this was 3 weeks ago march 2023 ,only to find no one arrived to even look at the property for pictures , measurements etc ,This is no way to treat customers ,we wouldn't treat our clients in such a fashion nor do we expect to be treated in such a hap hazzard manner .Imagine turning down a new build 3 bed house ,A rated ,and not have the courtesy to ring and say look sorry we won't be marketing your property ,even when it was this branch in cork we purchased from .☎️A SIMPLE PHONCALL OR EMAIL WOULDNT GO AMISS

My review actually relates to Sherry Fitzgerald's mortgage broker service.I was disappointed with the service but my situation was complicated by the fact that I was remortgaging and staff shortages in PTSB and in fairness to Sherry Fitzgerald when I complained they eventually dealt with it to my satisfaction.So I would simply say to potential customers that you keep a very close eye on the process as the banks are short staffed and the brokers can lose focus when it's such a drawn out process.

While the staff where very pleasant to deal with in general 2 things really sub standard.The first was that on visiting the house 2 days after they conducted a viewing i went to check the house and found the back door had not been locked and had been swinging open for since the view, surely one lesson of being an estate agent is lock up the house before you leave. in response i got a lame sorry.The second was that before the sale was complete the buyers want access for builders to take measurements, the sherry fitz agent then let them tear wall paper off the wall of one of the bedrooms. I asked for an explanation by phone, email and was studiously ignored.

Terrible company to deal with, I was looking to buy a house, we arranged for a viewing and they didn’t even show up or bother to let know they can’t come. So I was left waiting for an hour until agent finally answer her mobile phone, oh sorry didn’t you get my mail? No I didn’t. They also lie to you about the house, pushy, they don’t know anything about the house they are selling. They do know offcourse there are 3 bids on the house allready. Bad vibes tbh and will avoid them at all cost. Classic case of market leaders not caring about buyers, they deserve to go bust. I was dealing with greystones locations, avoid.
