Very easy procedure. One minor problem is that once the sale had gone through It seems to be taking quite a while before anyone can get me the Deposit protection service ID of the purchaser ,so the deposit can be transferred.

Frankly, it is ridiculous that they charge 4.8% reservation fee for most of their properties in liverpool. I have walked away from many properties therefore sellers losing potential sales due to this. This fee is utter ridiculous and much higher than other auction companies (1.2%)
We're sorry you've felt the need to leave us a one star review and that you're unhappy with the fee structure. If a purchaser is paying a reservation fee they are not also required to pay a deposit to secure the sale, therefore we find it can suit certain buyers better than traditional methods of sale. We do offer three different methods of sale which enables our sellers to choose the best method for their needs, two of these methods don’t involve a reservation fee. Never returns your calls.Unhelpful staff! They say that they returned my calls, but never left a message and never replied to email. Once I did get through and asked about the fees and charges. They asked me to add them up!!

GoogleOften auction houses can be very a bullish environment but this is not the case with SDL. As a buyer I have found the team very professional and supportive. I have purchased 2 properties so far and I have found the support and advice from Andy Thompson invaluable as buying from auction can be quite daunting. Andy has guided me every step of the way to what I believe are good investments. I would buy again through SDL
