We used John Shepherd Estate Agents to sell a premium property for us that had previously been marketed by a different agent.We found then to be extremely professional & diligent in their work and their comms to us as clients. In particular Harry, assisted by Lauren, was a pleasure to work with. He is polite, organised, professional & even tempered. It was not any easy sale process but Harry had good insight into how we could get the sale completed. He listened to our wishes & ideas, and he implemented then with respect. He never pressured us to reduce the price which is how most mediocre agents approach selling houses in a challenging market. Harry gives the profession of Estate Agent a very good name. I would have no reservations in using John Shepherd again in the future.

The team, Caitlin and Senka, were in touch with us throughout the whole process from taking pictures, advertising, arranging viewings and conducting them, to arranging the contracts and getting everything in place has been seamless for us. I have been very impressed with the service received at John Shepherd whilst arranging my letting for a new flat. Both Drew and Claire have both been extremely helpful and professional. There is a real thoroughness and professionalism to the service Iβve received. I felt very confident in the whole letting process. My only critiques would be that the professional cleaning that the previous tenant was meant to do had not been carried out and a smoke detector that was bleeping whilst viewing the property had not been fixed when I moved in approx 2 months later. Also the references AI chat system they use via Goodlord is a little bit hard to use and crashed a couple of times when I used it. However, any issues Iβve had John Shepherd have been very helpful- especially Drew. Would definitely use them again to let or to buy a property.

We are first time buyers who were quite hesitant about going through this process. Our estate agent Gurdev Sondh from the Shirley office really went the extra mile to secure the property for us. She regularly called to give updates and also advised us well. There were many delays and bumps in the road, however Gurdev's positive attitude and competency got us through and into our lovely new home.

TBH not a great start with John Sheppard, the communication was distinctly lacking, problems we were told would be fixed before we moved in werenβt and it wasnβt until the threat of withholding rental money made them sit up and pay attention. We were not informed of the portal process for registering issues until I complained so was then duly emailed the link for it. There were 3 adults on the tenancy but we were only issued with a single front door key and told that it was our responsibility to get further keys cut but we must make sure we handed them in at the end of the rent. So not the most auspicious start!Then came along Lauren, she was incredibly helpful, any issues were raised and dealt with immediately, nothing was a problem and she dutifully kept is informed all the way. So our message to JS is to look to your brightest employees to see what customer service is, if we had dealt with Lauren from the start you would have got the full 5 stars.
