I had an excellent experience with William H Brown, and I truly appreciate how quickly and professionally everything was handled from start to finish. From the very first viewing to signing the contract, the entire renting process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. What really stood out to me was the speed and organisation everything moved forward without unnecessary delays, which made a huge difference. A huge shout out to Buster Blore in the 5 Bank Plain office of William H Brown. What a fantastic person - head and shoulders the best letting agent in Norwich I dealt with to find a rental property. Buster was proactive, listened to the requirements, and genuinely worked hard, and fast, to help find a place to rent. Buster had such a 'can do' attitude - it made an enormous difference to me as a client, and he's a huge credit to the company. Thank you Buster!! I came to this agency with such a difficult situation, needing to find a place almost immediately. Most other places weren't up to it, but Buster helped me straight off the bat and didn't stop working with me until I got my flat in Norwich. Even when he wasn't in the office, he still worked tirelessly chasing up things for me, keeping me updated, and he was always so friendly and kind. I would likely still be without an address in Norwich when my postgrad degree started without his dedication. William H. Brown give this guy a raise he deserves it after all he did for me!

Zach at William H Brown was extremely helpful with looking for properties, he did everything he could to find the perfect one for 3 of us to move into. He was great at explaining the specifics about each property I viewed with him, the first one i viewed and loved was unfortunately not available for 3 people, who aren’t related, to move into and Zach was perfect at explaining the reasons why. He made sure to contact me about any other available houses that would be suitable, and even showed me another property that same day. 2 days later Zach contacted me about a property that he thought would work really well for my situation, I viewed the property that day and the landlord accepted us 3 to live there that same day as well. Zach managed to secure me a property in 3 days after the first viewing he showed me, after i’d been looking for 2 months. He has been extremely helpful and honest with information and answered all of our many questions. He made the experience of finally finding a property easy and i’m grateful for that, amazing service, wonderful person.

The WORST customer service I have ever encountered, and it seems I very much dodged a bullet. I recently went to view a rental property, agreed to pay 12 months rent upfront and a provisional move-in date, signed the tenancy, paid the 1st month's rent and damage deposit in advance (rest on sale completion), and was advised to call back within the hour to speak to John to arrange key collection 48 hours later. It wouldn't be a lie if I told you that John, also the Area Lettings Manager, is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. In the 1.5 hours, he sat opposite me arguing, I was told to shut up and be quiet twice (his actual words). I was shouted at. I was called a bully because I wanted to know why all four staff members had failed to call the landlord or myself back the day before. I had questions ignored. I was lied to when I asked if the calls were recorded (even though other staff members have confirmed they were). I was laughed at. I was also told (with a big smirk on his face) that he had advised the landlord to re-market the property if I hadn't completed and transferred the balance of 17k by close of play the next working day and would now not be allowed to move in, as agreed. It appears the poor lady I had spoken to on the phone was only a trainee and shouldn't have dealt with my call. Feeling backed into a corner, I advised the landlord I would withdraw my application. The property is now back on Rightmove and empty, and WHB needs to start all over again with viewings and referencing and refund my money. This is only a snippet of the complete mess it’s been from start to finish. The landlord and I have raised formal complaints, but am I surprised? No. I have never heard anything good about them, and their staff turnover is incredibly high, but look at how their Manager treats people.

Had a good experience with WHBrown, but I found out they had ‘lost’ my application on a home that I loved, and it was only noticed after I called everyday to find updates, so that was very disappointing due to the staff member who lost our application. That is the only downside. However, Harrison was in contact with me after he noticed this and provided 5 star service. He stayed late to help with rewriting my application, spoke to the landlord specifically for me, and provided lots of information, and I was keen to meet him to say thank you. He was very professional and I couldn’t thank him enough, and we finally got the property that we almost lost, we wouldn’t be here without Harrison. Also a thank you to Olivia for originally meeting with us, and also providing information, and I am now settled happily in my home. WHBrown even provided a gift box with the keys to my new home, which included drinks and some cupboard foods, as well as leaflets for furniture. Thank you to Harrison!
