Outstanding in all aspects of selling a house!

Sophia Fuller, Farren Mitchell and team in the Suffolk branch were absolutely fantastic! We had used several estate agents before who were not comparable to this standard of professionalism at all. Their professionalism, helpfulness, and responsiveness was outstanding and they were above and beyond with communication and keeping us in the loop. Highly highly recommend. Edward Thomson of Strutt and Parker is the real deal in a tank full of sharks in the London real estate market. His advice when I bought a short-lease apartment in Cadogan Place was invaluable. I have since gone on to refurbish the property and extended the lease to create some real value. I’d trust Ed, whether on the buy or sell side. He’s in it for the long-term, and repeat business is his goal. A relationship, not just a quick fling!

We could not fault the professionalism, efficiency and advice of Strutt & Parker (S&P). Having decided to put our house on the market we invited 4 estate agents to view and value our house and to explain their marketing strategy. S&P were streets ahead of the others. As we moved nearer to making a decision as to which to select, we invited S&P back to a second meeting to discuss in detail their terms of business. Each of our many questions were answered succinctly and without reference to notes. Having confirmed our acceptance of S&P as our marketing agents things moved very fast. Photographs were taken and in 4 days the brochure was available and the house on the market. Viewers came shortly after and were expertly shown the house by S&P. Thereafter, even after the completion date, our various questions were dealt with in the same speedy and courteous manner. We cannot recommend Strutt & Parker highly enough.

We recently exchanged contracts on the sale of our home in Norfolk and were delighted with the service provided by Strutt & Parker. From the valuation (where Tom and Ian were thoroughly professional and had great insight to regional prices) to the viewings (where all S&P employees who participated were excellent) it was a genuinely positive experience throughout. Even though we had a buyer withdraw on the day of exchange, Ian moved quickly to remarket the property and attracted a number of viewers within days and we quickly found new buyers. We would have no hesitation in recommending Strutt & Parker to anyone looking to sell a property in the £1m+ bracket in Norfolk

Cambridge rentals fiasco

This relates to the rentals service in Cambridge. We rented a house from Strutt & Parker for more than three years. They were never quick to deal with repairs and other issues, however we had a direct relationship with the owner which made life easier. When we moved out at the end of June 2024, we got the full benefit of Strutt & Parker's contempt for tenants, stunning slowness and incompetence. It took them nearly four months -- until 28 October 2024 -- to return the deposit. There was a litany of lame excuses about the time needed for estimates for some minor repairs. The reality was that it just wasn't a priority, they didn't care and they couldn't even work out which photographs attached to the contract corresponded to which actual rooms. If you rent property in Cambridge, beware this lot. Or at least be ready to suffer.
