GoogleAsk for a one sentence email to help with a planning matter was told that I was not important as clients paying thousands of pounds by Guy the director - was shouted at in front of office staff that was harassing him and that people who harass get put at bottom of pile - would never do any will business with the firm and have warned countess others at our networking events to stay away - just a warning of the type of mentality your dealing with

GoogleWe lived in a flat which was managed by the Arnold Keys for 1 year and 3 months. Everything was great except some maintenance issues in the house while tenancy continues. The person we contacted during the tenancy was very helpful.
After the end of tenancy I went back to the house for the checkout report and handover of the keys. I met with Catherine Hunt in the house she was there for the checkout report. I handover keys to her and she saw cupboard keys in my hands and she thought that keys were also for the flat she asked to me give that keys to her aswell. When I told her these were cupboard keys she treated me like I was lying and hiding the keys for the flat.
In the beginning of the tenancy period there were marks in the bedroom ceiling. However in the end of the tenancy they claimed the deposit for the marks which were not left by us !!!. They also claimed 234 £ for the cleaning just for the water marks in the bathroom and dusts on top of the sockets in a 1 bedroom flat. Other parts of the house left very clean by us.
We left the house 11 of march and we just got the unclaimed part of the deposit in 13 of april. We had to wait a month for get back our deposit.
Please very careful when renting from this agency as they could not be honest in the check in report.

GoogleWe decided to go to Arnold Keys to sell our property as they have a very reliable reputation however we truly felt they went the extra mile encouraging us when we felt the situation was impossible due to the uncertainty of the site next to us. Sally Smith pulled out all the stops and did not let this deter her from finding us a buyer for which we are very grateful so thank you Sally

GoogleAbsolutely dire company, especially Harry, if you were thinking about letting a property my advice would be look elsewhere as some companies actually care ! Arnold's Keys definitely don't!

GoogleThe start of our tenancy went very smoothly, and attaining the keys and completing the forms wasn't such a hassle. However we've just left our previous place, and trying to get a hold of our deposit has been a nightmare.
The staff seem to only communicate when something is needed from the tenant. All other contact seems to be ignored. After waiting 2 days for a reply to my email I phoned the office, only to be told I'll receive a reply when someone is back. And of course I didn't. Feels extremely unprofessional.
We also had several issues with Arnolds Keys during the later stages of our tenancy. Our boiler had started to stop working and when Arnolds Keys sent someone to fix it, it ended up not working at all, and we were given 0 information on how to get it working again.
In addition to this we had viewings arranged for people to view the flat to rent after we'd left, not once did anybody turn up when we were expecting them.
This would've been fine, if it weren't for the fact that nobody had let us know it wouldn't be happening. Just left us waiting all day.
Be cautious when entering into business with Arnolds Keys, I can't speak for other branches however the Norwich team seem to care very little about their clients unless it benefits them in any way.

GoogleGreat company that cares about its reputation! I have been renting a flat for over a year now and coopiraring with Arnolds Keys is really what I wish for all people! The representative is always in touch (thanks, Joe!). If something breaks, be it a window frame or a kitchen faucet, an agency representative will always help.
From the moment I viewed the flat and until today, I have only positive emotions! I look forward to further cooperation with this company!

GoogleI highly recommend Arnold Keys as an estate agent. Their team in Norwich have been excellent throughout the entire process. I changed to use them after experiencing 4 sales fall through with another agency. Arnold Keys got multiple offers on my property and help choose the most suitable purchaser as a result the sale completed in good time. I believe this is down to good customer service and the staff really knowing their clients.

GoogleWe used Arnolds Keys for a Homebuyers survey for a house we are buying. We were really impressed with them and can't recommend them enough. Our survey was booked and completed very quickly and the communications with Belinda were excellent! We received the report very soon after. The report was very detailed, stating any issues and necessary remedial works clearly. We followed up on a couple of points from the report with the surveyor and were really impressed with Shaun's detailed answers and further information on possible options for replacing a boiler. We felt they went beyond what was expected from a Homebuyers survey. Thank you! It made the house-buying process feel less stressful!

GoogleThe initial lady that showed us around our (now) rented house was kind, thoughtful, professional and human. However, In the process of looking for a property we dealt with at least a dozen estate agents, Arnold Keys was the most rude and unprofessional- from at least two members of staff we spoke to. This was due to the size of our family. We were told if they knew there were so many of us we wouldn't have received a viewing and discouraged from applying - were even incredulous at the thought of it. If I had a choice, I would not deal with them.

GoogleThe team led by Katie Mountain at Arnold’s Keys were extremely professional and proactive in marketing our property in Norwich in such challenging times. Everything from professional photography to EPC was carried out swiftly and we were on the market within days of instruction. They included a virtual viewing video which was very useful for buyers. We agreed a sale within 10 days of marketing and exchanged in just under 6 weeks. We would highly recommend Arnold’s Keys.

GoogleThe staff are a nightmare to talk to on the phone and talk down to you. I rented for a year and thank god I have left that branch. Awful company. I got locked in my own house as the door handle broke, and they didnt see it as an emergency and I had work to go to.

GoogleSeverely disappointed in the customer service and experience. Looking for a commercial property and contacted Arnold’s Keys to get an update on how things were progressing with a property I went to see. Have emailed and called requesting an update even if there is no news it would be great to know what is happening. Have heard nothing for over 3 weeks now. Assuming the deal is dead. Coming from a corporate background I call this poor professionalism and lack of basic human decency. I am not surprised the property has been empty for over two years. As a landlord I would be furious to know my property is not being run efficiently. Shall take my business elsewhere. Thankfully have met some rather splendid agents from other businesses who have time for customer queries.

GoogleUnprofessional and slow in simple terms. Never reassured if they are actually helping me or just trying to sell it on to someone else. Their commercial side is just terrible with no get up and go attitude but rather just dragging along their heels because they clearly don't want to deal with it.

GoogleGood professional service. Small points. I was not informed that the references were complete and that the agreement could be completed until I telephoned yesterday. Fortunately, due to lockdown, I was available at short notice. Also, it is helpful that you now have an electronic signing facility. I was not however able to sign with my signature as that did not work either with my finger or an e-pen, so I had to type my name instead.

GoogleWe used Arnolds Keys to as the surveyors for a number of properties that we were looking to buy. The surveys were conducted quickly, and whenever we called for updates we were looked after marvellously by Belinda, or whoever else was picking up the phones, that day. As a result, we managed to avoid buying a house that had been done up really badly by cowboy builders, and are now happily ensconced in another house, in full knowledge of what needs doing up urgently, and what can be left.
Can't recommend them highly enough.

GoogleMy husband and I have been property searching for around 18 months. We have now found one through Arnold Keys Coastel in Sheringham. They have been without a doubt the most professional agents we have dealt with. Every one of the team are most helpful and knowledgeable of their properties and the area. We highly recommend them.

GoogleTo the first reviewer. Unfortunately, this is standard practice at most letting agents. It is an expensive business obtaining a rental home but much cheaper than buying one. Your agent should advise you of your likelihood of success when you first speak with them. It depends on your income, number of children and more often than not whether you have pets. Most agents automatically apply a no animals policy but this can usually be negotiated with the landlord through the agent before you pay anything. Cats and dogs generally make wear and tear on a property and also means the property must be professionally cleaned at the point of departure. This is an additional expense usually incurred by the outgoing tenant and can result in extra costs for the landlord if not done satisfactorily as the next tenants may be allergic to the residual hair and skin within carpets etc.
Your best bet is to discuss your needs with the agent in a way that encourages the agent to help you find suitable accommodation.
Good luck with your search for your next home.
