Not interested unless you're selling soon

Contact was great at the start but that's all I can say. Incredibly poor communication between their own staff and the people who have been in touch have essentially ghosted me, they're not interested because I'm not selling soon despite being told someone would call me back/send the free valuation I requested. When chased, I got an incredibly short message from a Miss Pattinson (I really hope not related to owners) to say she was out of office, essentially not wanting anything to do with it. Outstanding service and experience with another competitor though.

We put are house on the market with…

We put are house on the market with pattersons in January and not many viewings. It was also on market with another agent who did sell it. Seemed ok with feed back from the 2 viewings we got from them but maybe it was due to other agent selling it for us we didn't get alot from them.

Great service, would recommend…

Booked viewing appointments through Linda in the Blyth branch. All went to plan, the ones Linda conducted went smoothly and the ones with homeowners were great too. I visited one property on 11th Oct; had a second viewing on 13th Oct; offered on it 14th Oct and sale was agreed quickly. Linda is friendly, helpful, efficient and professional - a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a property!

Dreadful

Dreadful experience with this company. Be very careful before you sign any kind of contract with them. I have, in effect, just had to pay them £10,000 for their minimal input in failing to secure a sale of my late father's property. Legally within their rights, but ethically and morally bankrupt.

Our auction agreements clearly set out the circumstances in which a fee may become payable by a vendor, including where a sole selling rights agreement is in place and a buyer introduced to a property through our marketing subsequently goes on to purchase that property. We sold a property and used their…

We sold a property and used their recommended solicitors... A big mistake. In the main Pattinson people are helpful... but why would they recommend Bridge view law who were the worst solicitors we have ever dealt with.?... Interestingly a look at Trust pilot would definitely make you NOT use Pattinson recommended lawyers.. so think carefully before you are persuaded by Pattinson to do this.... They told me they are very used to auctions and as such very professional... NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. The auction experience was not great... On balance I would not recommend it. Use your own solicitor and sell by a high street agency.

Professional, Friendly and Efficient

I concluded on a property on this day. Whilst some of us might watch 'trash TV' such as Bargain Hunt, this was my first ever auction. So, no Toby Jug, although, your primary home. All whom I interacted with were professional, friendly, and efficient. Technically we concluded slightly over the legal period, although zero grumbling from this organisation. I don't rule out another interaction in future.

Just constant bombardment from all there branches all because I liked properties from a central website like right move etc, its constantly phone call and emails, its a joke I've asked 4 times now to be removed true story, another true story they still haven't taken me off there database, fed up with them

Jonny Buckle from the Pattinson Regional Centre has been amazing right from the property enquiry, offer being accepted and whilst the purchase is progressing. He has been available to answer queries, look into issues and just the sort of person you want to deal with. His polite and attentive demeanor have been a bonus to his professionalism. Avoid at any cost. Don't ever bid if you're looking to buy a house.

I was a first time buyer and they trapped me dus to my lack of experience in buying property. Lie after lie. They made me pay seller's solicitor fee of £3500 which was written at the bottome of the special conditions in very small words. Told me the property will be in a vacant possession but it wasn't as this was another trap just to make me bid on the property. And they are so many things I can't be asked to write as I am so annoyed and frustrated with their service.

Communication Issues?

We were frustrated and disappointed in our tenant find dealings this time as we have been customers of Pattinson's for several years and this has been our worst experience. Progress from prospective tenants viewing the property to actually taking up the tenancy was slow, we were constantly chasing the local office for answers. We also received two incorrect communications from the central office saying the tenancy had started when it obviously hadn't. The individual agents involved were all pleasant and helpful but perhaps more communication between them, the central office and us could have made the experience more positive.

Fantastic agents

Pattinsons weren’t even my agent but Elizabeth and the team were amazing. My chain had seven people and also a sub chain. This was a nightmare. My agent washed their hands of things but Pattinsons kept this on track Friendly, professional and on the ball. Call back when they say they will and work hard to get the sale progressed

I,d give them 0 starts if i could,I sold parents house i was left at auction and explained i could not get big items from upstairs and needed buyer to make stairs and let be get items inc car keys and escort cabriolet, after completion date told up to owner if lets you get item which he did baby and parents items , car gone edwardian clock old sony tv's gone , did not explain were not mine anymore tying to get back or comp avoid like the plauge daylight robbers

I wanted to participate in an online…

I wanted to participate in an online auction after noticing a property I really liked. When I registered, there were just under four days left until the auction ended. I completed all the forms and waited for approval to start bidding. I’ve been waiting ever since. Now the auction is only a few hours from closing, and I still haven’t received confirmation. Ironically, I did receive a text message from Pattinson reminding me that less than 24 hours remain and urging me to hurry up 😂😂😂. Apparently, I won’t get the chance to take part at all. Very poor service that leaves a rather mixed impression…

EDIT - complete waste of time emailing them as they requested in the reply, apparently it’s my own fault for trusting their complete lie about the solicitor they recommended being a “trusted partner they work with regularly” and any charges over what pattisons quote and issues regarding the performance of the solicitor is not their responsibility, and me being told verbally what fees I’ll be paying and given only the back page of a multi page document to sign and never seeing the actual charges is also my fault and just expected to accept it for next 6 months. Don’t give this theiving lying company the time of day

Terrible

Terrible. Premises rented to my son in such a state of what I can only call neglect to the point of dangerous. At no point have they admitted any sense of responsibility for this or that issues raised were of concern. Beware before renting from them and complete any safety checks yourself including the whole property if taking a flat or studio apartment.

Professional and person centred - thank you

What made my experience great was the patience and kindness shown to me when dealing with the sale of my family home after the death of my mother. The time taken to explain options for saleand the hands on help with presenting the property and undertaking viewings was really reassuring. The regular communication and person centred approach really stood out for me and I was made to feel more than just a customer. Thank you Michael and Caitlin so much for your support.
