I thank all the team at Hunters . they have been excellent . We were unable to travel to see the property we were interested in because my Husband is ill and the property was hundreds of miles away from where we lived. Alexandra a agent at Hunters was brilliant , she came to the property and lead me through the rooms with zoom, and talked me through each room, also kept me in touch through out the sale, I can not fault the service I had with her. Andrew also was excellent about collecting the keys. GOOD TEAM all round. Highly recommendedPositiveProfessionalism

I can’t recommend Hunters Easingwold enough. Kara went above and beyond to help us secure a new rental property. Everything went smoothly and they were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!!

lettings fees are very high

For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

We bought through Hunters three years’ ago and decided late in 2024 to upgrade. Andy was our first stop… impressed last time, we wanted to understand the market and chances of finding our forever home. His knowledge and understanding of our requirements and the area is unmatched. The single best recommendation he made was to get ours ready to market so that when the ideal property came up, we were ready. With Ben, the RightMove listing was prepared, just waiting for us to hit “go”. Turns out the “perfect” property came in via Hunters: Andy personally called to share the details and we viewed on Day 1. The rest is history. The entire office team takes time to know you and communicate exceptionally well. Andy, Ben, Naomi, Ian: you all played a part. Thank you.

We dealt with Hunters in Easingwold for both the sale of our home and the purchase of our new home. It was during the Covid period and we found it difficult to even get in touch with a few estate Agents to value ours. We decided on Hunters because from the first ever conversation, both Andy and Alexandra were not only always easy to get hold of but were constantly keeping in touch with us about all aspects and updates. It made the whole experience of moving much less stressful as I didn't need to keep chasing for information. I would not only recommend their professionalism to anyone considering, but I would insist that you use them and make your lives so much easier! Thank you Hunters!PositiveResponsiveness

I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton!

I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton branch! From the very first phone call right up to exchanging contacts They have been beyond brilliant. I absolutely loved the pictures of my house and the write up most definitely did my house justice. My house sold within 4 days and I was over the moon with the price!Nicole was the shining star for me- she kept in daily contact and was the most reassuring and helpful person every single step of the process. She chased up people when they needed it ensuring the sale moved along at pace. Thank you so much Hunters but especially a massive thank you to Nicole- you have been amazingly!

Disappointed is an understatement..

To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from the Horncastle Branch with Michael and Susan Noonan is an understatement and the level of service is a far cry from Michael's commitment to customer experience.Researching this branch shows multi-occasions that this activity has happened here.If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house.Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to the buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours.I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored. We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller.Happy to receive a call or email to discuss our experience with you.

Hunters are not interested

Hunters let the house adjacent to ours. There have been multiple pipe leaks around the bathroom causing flooding which in turn is causing damp smells on our side due to the length of time taken to address the issues. It's been repaired after four weeks now within hours water is currently coming through the ceiling next door soaking our party wall and they have told the tennant it's livable no problem.

Feeling sorry for vendors hoping to sell their property

Mid of August I telephoned Hunters Sunderland to view a property, giving them all requested details - a little while later they sent an email asking which property I meant (I had told them but if they wanted to clarify: why didn't they ask this when I phoned?).

Awful

Awful. Incredibly disorganised. Would establish inspections and never turn up, would constantly email about overdue rent that wasn't overdue. Would pass the blame constantly. Attempted to raise my rent by a "reasonable" £200 a month six months into my tenancy which can only happen every 12 months and cannot be more than the CPI price index; they failed on both counts. Renting is honestly awful, and these clowns pray upon the anxiety of insecurity to get what they want.I have bought a house now, I wish all renters the luck to buy their own homes one day so we never have to deal with letting agents like these ever again.

Gutted

I was really impressed with the valuer's sales pitch and genuinely believed they would be the best firm to sell my home. The fact they had a relationship with Ryan property law also played a part, although that turned out to be a disaster, but that's a review for another day.

Sales progression team lied and not very professional.

We are in the process of buying a bungalow at the moment and the sales progression team told us the vendor had been to sort the electrics and service the boiler..previous tennants had apparently got in debt so electric was cut off..Hunters lied saying this would be sorted. A second viewing 2 weeks later and a wasted 120 mile journey confirmed nothing had been sorted. When we told them we were disappointed with them we were told to leave the property.

I would completely recommend avoiding…

I would completely recommend avoiding this agency, they are slow to respond, have no information ready at hand and this has possibly been the most annoying process of purchasing a property with them. There was a lot of missing information that I was not provided and they basically only know how to respond when they need something. You will call them and they say they'll get back to you and just disappear. Avoid if possible.

Damaged our house, and we're not even their clients!

Hunters hung a "for sale" sign on our property, which was a surprise to us, since we were neither selling nor letting the property. When asked to take it down, four visible holes have been left in the wall of our home. It has been six and a half weeks, and the holes are still there. In a couple of weeks, we're going to need to escalate this to the ombudsman.

Agent Harj was full of fake promises

Agent Harj was full of fake promises. Although he was all smiles and seemed friendly, the minute we left after our viewing he didn’t return texts or calls and shyed away from any contact. After several calls to the agents I finally managed to find out myself that the property had been given to someone else, rather than them calling me to inform me I had to dig this information out of them which was frustrating. Avoid!

Bad communication

I have been trying to contact them for 4 months in regards to my flat and contract but they are absolutely appalling at responses and making things clear and helpful for those they are letting to. They have sent me in so many different directions on who to contact and have stopped responding to me within one week of me first contacting them. On top of this it took them weeks to respond and report to maintenance issues, and when they did the response I got was rude and abrupt. As well as that they issues weren't resolved fully resulting in me feeling uneasy in what was meant to be my own space. Absolutely awful service and wouldn't even consider letting/renting from them again.

Pathetic estate agency

Pathetic estate agency! The guy who is showing properties mixing up addresses and you end up viewing a different one. If you make an offer they show a very keen interest in person then no-one ever comes back to you. The property owners will never get to find out who made offers and they may just losing out on perfectly good tenants…!They do not even talk to each other within the office to relay interest. You get a bunch of promise, but that is all!Laura is useless!

Excellent service from start to finish. A quick turnaround with the initial valuation and production of brochure, and lots of helpful guidance through the first few steps of the process. The local branch (Easingwold) were always on hand to offer support and conduct viewings, removing yet another layer of potential stress for us, the sellers. Once an offer had been accepted (downstream and upstream), we relied heavily on Rebecca Foster for the sales support. Becky seemed to be 1/3 estate agents, 1/3 solicitor and 1/3 wonder woman. Becky was the go to contact for trouble shooting many problems that arose, managing to de-stress the whole process as much as possible. I would definitely recommend Hunters for anyone looking to buy and/or sell. I feel the entire process has been handled well by all the team.

Appalling group of folks!

Appalling group of folks! This group has no idea what they are doing. we worked with Selina and she was absolutely clueless and brought wrong/unverified information to the table. If I were looking to rent, I would be running as far as possible from this agency or owners they work with! if there were minus points that is what I would give them for ripping a kid off!
