Two and a half weeks ago, I filled in a ‘contact’ form on their web site, requesting further info on a new property they are the agent for. I have heard absolutely nothing from them. Today, I attempted to telephone. After going through several ‘options’, I was informed there was no-one to take my call (at 4.30pm)! If I was the vendor of the property in question, I would be very concerned and sorely disappointed with Bridgeford Northallerton’s lack of service. I certainly would not use them.

I had had my property on the market for over 6 months with another estate agents , I contacted the office in Northallerton and Tony came along valued my property and promptly arranged for it to be listed, Georgia came along and took the photos and within days I had viewings, what a relief within weeks we had a buyer 👍 completed and money in the bank within 3 months from start to finish, Very professional, kept up to date at all stages from viewings to feedback, would I recommend yes I would. Annie and Jack have been awesome! They found me a suitable tenant very quickly, and they are both extremely professional, efficient and personable, and made the whole renting out process run very smoothly. When one is either on the phone or with clients the other takes over with a seamless transition. They explained everything clearly and immediately followed through with documentation, updates and organising the necessary contractors. Nothing was too much trouble, and I truly couldn't have asked for more! They are a great team, and I wouldn't want to use anyone else.

We originally had a valuation booked for last Friday. My partner had specifically kept his day free, made no other plans and stayed at home to accommodate the appointment. The estate agent then rang us several minutes after he was supposed to arrive to inform us that he wouldn’t be coming. No reasonable notice whatsoever. Although very frustrating, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and rearranged the valuation for today. Unbelievably, the exact same thing has happened AGAIN. Having already been let down once, we actually went out of our way to ring the office at around 2pm today to confirm that the valuation would definitely be going ahead & nobody answered the phone. We then received a call back at 3:57pm, when the appointment was booked for 4pm, informing us that the estate agent would not be attending because he was in Hartlepool?! What I find particularly unacceptable is that, had we not contacted the office ourselves, I genuinely question whether anybody would have bothered to inform us at all. I would like to acknowledge that the lady we spoke to on the telephone was apologetic, and we do appreciate that. We also understand that the valuations are not booked directly through the company itself. However, regardless of how the appointments are arranged, the experience ultimately reflects on the business and the service being provided. We certainly won’t be trusting this company with the sale of our home.
