Disappointing experience with William H Brown (North Walsham branch)

In my experience, service at William H Brown, North Walsham fell below expectations. A booked viewing was attended without the branch-held key. After a later viewing we discovered damage and reported it with photos; the branch did not accept responsibility. The key was then released to my named collector without any ID check, and the promised weekly updates about marketing did not materialise. I asked to end the agreement early and this was declined. I have referred my complaint to The Property Ombudsman. Based on this experience, I moved to another agent and would not recommend this branch.

We bought our house with the north walsham branch and moved in in the beginning of August 2022. Jordan really helped us get answers and was on the case for chasing everyone she was able to in our chain. We had issues along the way with sale and purchase, but the dedication of Jordan keeping our spirits up and being so on the ball made it happen. I would recommend this branch as long as Jordan is involved. 😀

I found a rental property online and…

I found a rental property online and asked for a viewing. The property was located over 100 miles from my residence and as a consequence of this the employee said that they had a recent video of the property, she sent it to me and it looked amazing so I put in an offer. Contracts were exchanged and then on the day of moving the agency contacted me to inform me that the cooker had been condemned and had to be removed from the property and that the landlord was now refusing to buy a cooker and that they were not required to provide one. As you can appreciate at this stage I was very upset, however the agents said they would get back to the landlord to see if she would change her mind. The contracts had already been exchanged and the landlord was refusing to honour her side of the agreement on the moving day when the arrangements had been made and I had moved out of my current home. I would not use this company at all they have no common decency and to add salt to the wound I have to take them to court to get my money back for the E first months rent and deposit because they think that I should be held to the fixed term contract and be liable for paying the rent nevertheless! Do not trust this company!!!

Do not use this estate agent. They did not act in our interest and quite openly attempted to bully us into selling our property at well under the market value. We had a ridiculous offer, which they just expected us to take. Zero effort made to push the property after the offer.
