I recently sold my house through Alexander May using their Long Ashton branch. From start to finish the entire procedure was made to feel as stress free and as easy as possible. Every aspect was carried out in an extremely professional manner but with an added personal touch that made me feel very comfortable and well looked after. They made it clear that they were only a phone call away if I needed to ask a question or needed any help or advice - in fact Scott was only too happy to come around to mine and assist when I had difficulties in filling out the forms that the solicitors had sent to me. My house actually sold far quicker than I imagined it would - and for the full asking price! Every person that I dealt with during the process were an absolute pleasure to deal with but special thanks and praise must go to Gabby and Scott, who in my opinion, went above and beyond what I had expected. Having now completed the sale, I can say that I'm very happy that I chose Alexander May to handle it and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to sell their own property.

Having been searching for so long, and signed up with multiple agents given the market in Bristol, the Alexander May team stood out amongst the pack. Understanding our requirements they made sure anything new to market was on our radar and indeed got us first through the door for our viewing. They were so responsive during that stressful time of accepted offer to contract exchange and nothing was too much for them. I used Alexander May to sell my house in Long Ashton and Rhodri, Scott and the team couldn't have been more helpful. They managed to sell the house very quickly but it then took many months for me to find the next property. Throughout this difficult period, they were always very responsive to my questions and concerns and kept in close contact with my buyers, who kindly stuck with the process and and we have now all thankfully moved. We used Alexander May to sell our house in Long Ashton and they were also acting for the seller of the house we purchased, in Long Ashton too. We accepted an offer for our house from a person who continually prevaricated and drew the whole process out, a situation which Rhodri managed well ending in us accepting an alternative offer which flew through in record time. Rhodri kept us informed throughout the transaction with no need for us to chase for information and gave us good advice, particularly through the problematic early stages. I would have no hesitation in recommended Alexander May.

An absolute fantastic experience selling with the Long Ashton team. Scott in particular deserves a particular shout out. Throughout the entire process had to put up with my chasing calls and messages but never got frustrated (at least not that I'm aware of!) and remained courteous, professional and pro-active throughout. We had a tricky house sale because of a long chain, but the team at Alexander May were fantastic - they went the extra mile to keep informed of all those involved in the chain (not just immediately above and below), and offered us - and others in the chain - informed, honest and fair advice. We almost chose a cheaper online agent but in the end we were hugely relieved we did not. A good agent offers what we got: proactive and personal service, and contactable whenever we needed them 6 days a week. Our complex sale would have failed without this, and so I'd strongly recommend the Long Ashton Alexander May team!
