My property was a new townhouse in a very sought after attractive area. When I enlisted my property with SF they promised they had a database of interested customers and my house will sell quickly. I was under the impression that the size of SF would work for my benefit but I turned out to be wrong. I was "just another customer". There was no personal touch or effort put into selling my house. In fact they brought the digital team to do the marketing piece a day AFTER I moved out, when the house was a total mess and without staging anything - showing the house "as is" (and actually worse). At one point the agent advised me to sell the house at a lower price than the one THEY recommended to list the property under. So either they overpriced the property or they didn't deliver! Either way I found their service very unprofessional and very very disappointing.

Instructed Sherry Fitz to sell my home this year - just after the post-Christmas lock-down.The environment was uncertain and stressful. Their quiet competence and confidence was just great. We worked out the pre-sale spending budget, and they were active with meeting my requirements. The standout for me was when there was a bump in the sale path, they were proactive and honest. They also behaved very ethically when dealing with the bidders which I found comforting. Overall, I can't imagine talking to a different agent when selling again. I dealt with Barry Ensor and Andrea Whelan in Rathmines office.

GoogleThis was the first time that we have both sold and bought at the same time and didn't know what the process entailed. Polly was fantastic and explained the whole process thoroughly before we put our house up for sale. The reason why we picked this agency was due to their enthusiasm for our property and their belief that they could sell it and that's what they did!! I also found that they were very fair in their valuation. I strongly believe the whole agency worked so hard to sell our property, in particular Polly as it was a very unique property and they managed to do it in 4 months. Polly regularly kept in touch with us to let us know what was happening and she was regularly on the phone to solicitors to chase up any problems. I would like to thank Polly, Aaron, Andrea and Sophie for all their hard work and I would strongly recommend this agency to all my friends and family!

GoogleThis was my first time renting a property and I have to say that Polly at Simon Brien, Newtownards was fantastic! From dealing with my initial enquiry, right through to the final signing of the lease, Polly kept me fully informed on a daily basis every step of the way. And even once the lease was signed, she made her self available to be contacted at any time if I had any issues once I had moved in. Great staff can sometimes be hard to come by,, but Polly is a huge asset to Simon Brien Residential. Great job! Thanks again!

Placed an order and then there was no further update from the agent for over a month.I called them for update then the agent called back and ask what can they help me???After the call they asked me to increase the offer, it is totally fine but should be more proactive. Will not consider them in the future.

Ed Reilly came to value our home in anticipation of us going to market. After our first meeting with Ed it was clear he had a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the current market so we did not hesitate to appoint him which transpired to be a great decision. Not all sales go smoothly , however with a calm and problem solving approach the sale was completed. Ed was fantasic to deal with , always promptly returning my calls and handing any issues with the utmost professionalism as did his team in the office. For any future purchases or sales we may endeavour on within Eds scope area there would be no one else we would choose.

Very annoyed with sherry fitzgerald tallaght. Mislead about a few things during the already stressful process of buying apartment. I was told on a couple of occasions that furniture was included so I gave all my furniture to charity shop, only to find a completely empty apartment to move into. Have to now spend money I don't have to buy a whole new set of furniture on Christmas week. Very unprofessional people.

Sophie was excellent, once sale agreed she continued to keep me up to date as the buyer, chasing various solicitors and definitely helped speed the process along. The service from Sophie & Polly was 2nd to none and I can not rate them high enough. I would certainly return and use Simon Brien when I am selling in the future. Excellent.

TrustpilotUnprofessional - never stick to commitment
I recently purchased a house through Sherry and my experience was worse (D15). While buying a house is a life event for most, the folks here has absolutely no consideration to that fact. They did not want to show me the house for final walkthrough which I had to argue with them. They lied to me that they had the entire house keys so I released the funds, however, they gave me literally just a single main door key. I had to follow up for 5 days, and multiple phone calls to receive the entire set of keys. After all this, it took 3 weeks for them to remove the 'Sold' board in front of the house. If you are looking for an agent, please do not consider Sherry, instead consider other agents who are more professional and friendly.
