GoogleWe recently purchased an apartment in Newquay which was being marketed by Bradleys local team, conveniently based locally in the centre of town. We received regular updates as well as ongoing advice and support, not only regarding with our purchase but also finding local traders, solicitors and surveyors. A very friendly bunch always happy to take a call and help resolve any queries we had. Very happy to recommend and would be happy to work with them again.

Not impressed. Tried to rent via rightmove so called them. The phone number is just an automated system that directs you to their website and therefore useless. Went to their website: you can't even request more information without entering loads of personal details into this. As part of this Bradleys require you to send through an Experian credit check and you can't progress without it, this means you have to create an account with Experian too or other credit check agency... and accept all their terms and conditions... Still, I ploughed on, completed a credit check and then go no response at all! Utter waste of my time. Went back through right move to contact them, i.e. seemingly the only way to message them. Got a response telling me to go to their website and fill in all my details again! Responsed to the email informing them that I had already done so and guess what? The email system is no-reply. Shameful, hence this review. I can only speak from personal experience, maybe they are great if you are a landlord or selling property but as soon to be both, I will not consider them for either purpose if this is how their tenants are treated.

We are looking for a new home to rent, we were advised to try Bradleys Having contacted and registered with many estate agents in the south west of England we found all of them to be easy and straightforward to register with, but Oh My God when you get to Bradleys, you should dump them immediately. After a few minutes in to the registration form the information they require becomes beyond belief, they even want to know how much savings you have. That’s totally obnoxious and none of their business. We can understand that they require certain information but not this just to register for information on lettings (no other letting agency requests to have your private and personal information just to register or even getting info on properties to let in their portfolio ). BRADLEYS you are too big for your boots. And by the way you have the worst web site to navigate in the market. Pay someone to help or get a grown up to help you.

TrustpilotDon’t sign anything without getting advice
I would advise anyone to steer clear of Bradleys if you expect any level of service or communication. We have been on the market with them for 18 months with only a handful of viewings. I haven’t heard a word from them since April, The For Sale board blew down in February. I reported this but no one has ever been around to put it back up. I have now decided to remove our property from their marketing and have now been told they expect me to pay them £600. I presume part of their strategy is that even if they don’t manage a sale then at least will get £600. This seems a very risk free and lazy way of making money for what is supposed to be a Company working for their customers. I have checked with 4 other Agents out there and none of them operate this way. Do your research and don’t sign anything without checking elsewhere first.

GoogleBradley’s are hands down THE WORST estate agent I have ever had to deal with as a tenant. I would never use them ever again after my experience. I would actually give them 0 stars if I could! Alarm bells were ringing the moment we did the inventory check and they had ‘light bulbs not working’ on the inventory rather than actually replacing them for when we moved in. They hardly ever came to check the property, maybe once a year, which I’m sure isn’t what they agree with landlords. The property was riddled with damp and mould which took them 3 years to do anything about. If you have a pet do not use them as they charge you £170 for ‘fumigation’ when you check out. When I questioned what this was before signing the contract they told me it meant spraying the carpets with an over the counter flea spray. WRONG!!!!!!! Disgusted they tell you lies to sign a contract knowing full well you will get charged. Terrible agent, avoid at all costs.
Thank you for your comments. Whilst there are a number of points upon which we are not agreed we consider it appropriate to provide clarity regarding our pet policy in particular. Wherever possible we encourage our landlords to consider pets rather than to impose a blanket ban. In this instance your former landlord agreed you may keep a dog at the property subject to specific conditions. You signed an appendix to the tenancy agreement which quite clearly stated “The carpets are to be PROFESSIONALLY cleaned at the end of the tenancy by the Tenant and receipts for such work submitted to the Agent” and also that “At the end of the tenancy the property will be PROFESSIONALLY FUMIGATED for the purpose of destroying any pests that may remain the full cost of such pest control will be met by the Tenant and receipts for the same submitted to the Agent”. You did not comply with these provisions leaving us no option but to arrange the works on your behalf. You had the option to arrange these works yourself but chose not to, this being a view shared by the TDS whom arbitrated the deposit administration independently. For the avoidance of any doubt, this Company did not make any financial gain whatsoever as the £170 to which you refer was the price quoted by an independent contractor

Worst customer service I have ever received. Made to feel like my thoughts and views were insignificant and I was stupid!! I have been in sales and senior management for 25years and have never experienced such a lack of customer care. I would never recommend anyone to use this company to sell their home, people deserve more than this company delivers.

GoogleOur home move took nearly five months and has been stressful at times however Richard, Kathleen and Alex have been the most amazing team of estate agents. Chasing loose ends and keeping us updated every step of the way. We’ve found our forever home so don’t intend on moving again (not for a very long time anyway) but if we did we would 1000% use Bradley’s. Excellent team

They called back when they said they would. Given their approach with us as purchasers, we would consider using Bradley’s for a sale in the future.
