Sold in 5 days, couldn’t have asked for more!

We honestly couldn’t recommend Bradleys enough. From start to finish, the whole experience of selling our home was brilliant. A massive shout out in particular to Jack (COYS!), who was our agent throughout the process. He was so relatable, down to earth and just a genuinely lovely guy. By the end of it, we honestly felt like we were dealing with a friend rather than an estate agent! Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and the communication throughout was 10/10. Clare and Jordan were also fab, stepping in and helping both Jack and us along the way whenever needed. The whole team just made what is normally a really stressful process feel so much easier. Our house sold within 5 days of going on the market, and the photos and videos they arranged were amazing and presented our home beautifully. They'd even organised off market viewings, before it had even gone live. We actually bought this same house through Bradleys back in 2020 and had a great experience with them then too, so it felt quite fitting that they were the ones to sell it for us as we move on to our next chapter. Just a genuinely lovely bunch of people who are great at what they do. We’ve already recommended them to others and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. Thank you so much Jack, Clare, Jordan and everyone at Bradleys! ❤️

Had an excellent service from Bradleys Estate Agents. Everything was explained through the whole process. The team worked as one to sell our property. Richard did an amazing job guiding us through the sale - Something that we hadn’t done for 30 years. Would certainly recommend using them again.

My experience with Bradleys left me with little confidence in the way prospective purchasers were treated, and because of it I would not buy or rent a property through this agency again. I attended the Bradleys office to submit an offer on one of their listed properties. I asked if my offer could be presented to the vendor while I was still there, and the negotiator told me he had been unable to contact the vendor despite making several attempts over the weekend and again that morning. After leaving the office, I went to the property to check access to the rear garden from the outside. The owner happened to come out, and during our conversation I mentioned that I had just submitted an offer through Bradleys. He told me that he had already accepted an offer over the weekend through the same agency. While I was still speaking with the owner, the negotiator called me and said he had now managed to speak to the vendor, who had decided to wait for a higher offer because the property had not been on the market for long. The information I received from the owner and from the negotiator within the space of a few minutes was inconsistent, and I was left confused about what had actually occurred. Had I simply been told that the property was already under offer, I would have accepted that and moved on. Instead, I left feeling that I had not been given clear and consistent information. Although I was not the eventual purchaser, I dealt directly with the agency as a prospective buyer while submitting an offer on one of their properties. This review is based entirely on my own first-hand experience. As a result of that experience, I chose not to have any further dealings with Bradleys and would not use them in the future.

We couldn’t be more grateful to Octavia for her incredible support throughout our home-buying journey. From our very first viewing to the moment we picked up the keys, she was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Octavia went above and beyond to keep us informed, answer all our questions, and ensure everything stayed on track, even during delays and unexpected hurdles. Her friendly and approachable nature made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and reassuring. It was clear she truly cared about helping us find not just a house, but a home. Thank you, Octavia, for your dedication and for making our experience so positive, we feel very lucky to have had you by our side!

I have dealt with Bradleys estate agents a few times over the years and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We have just purchased a bungalow through them and also sold our own flat through another branch of Bradleys . Thanks again for a positive experience. I look forward to showing you the transformation. Regards Rob Jeñnings

Emilie at Bradley’s Newquay is a credit to the company. She showed us around the retirement apartment we are now buying. She went out of her way to agree a time that suited us. She arrived on time and is extremely knowledgeable about the property and where it is located. She has excellent communication skills and gave us plenty of time to look around and answer our questions. We felt relaxed which is important when viewing. We put our house on the market as we loved the apartment Emilie showed us. She kept in contact with us every few weeks to see how our house sale is going and we appreciated Emilie keeping in touch. You can rely on her to reply quickly to emails and phone calls. So to sum up, an excellent service throughout. Thank you ‘

Cannot believe what's just happened to my friend one day before the final signing for a property in Cornwall called hillgate Farm represented by Richard the manager of the estate agents Bradley's at Newquay after Alex the man we were dealing with has gone AWOL have turned around and scaffold the deal so they can take it off the market and raise the price by 75 grand because of repeated interest in the property because they couldn't even be bothered to list the property on the internet as sale agreed which has led to repeated calls of so-called interest in the property after my friend has just spent £4300 on lawyers fees and searches after finding out that the property needs a minimum of £30,000 spent to replace roofs on the house and flat roof and recommendations to get past control to inspect for wood destroying insects in the timber frame the property also needed cladding to prevent the damp and also so the estate agent beat around the bush and didn't want to admit that the property across the road was owned by travellers and was registered as a gypsy site for two mobile homes he also admitted on the phone that in his opinion he didn't need to disclose the problems with the property that are listed in the surveyors report even the surveyor said that he personally wouldn't touch the property with a barge pole because of all of the problems including hidden damp and rafters rotten in the roof So all I can say is buyer beware of HillGate Farm and Bradleys Estate Agents in Cornwall is old mutton dressed as lamb and I will leave you with Richard's last quote which was told to us tonight by the son of the people that are selling the home when he said yeah but Richard told us it doesn't matter all the Londoners are going mad for property down here at the moment and they'll buy anything so all I have to say say to greedy pencil pusher Richard the SOP is well done what professionalism scuse me while I choke laughing. One last thing I would like to make quite plain the only reason Bradley's has received one star is because you cannot leave none

Dear Mr. Fox, we believe reviews to be an integral part of any business, although it would be more appropriate if your friend provided their own review with their own words as this doesn't quite tally up with the way events unfolded according to the office and also the vast array of notes on our database. A simplified version would be that due to various works being highlighted following a survey the buyer asked to re-negotiate the price, which he then accepted wasn't justified and agreed to proceed. At the final stages, the buyer again asked to re-negotiate the price, which wasn't agreeable (still) to the sellers. As a result, they withdrew from selling to your friend and re-marketed their home. When naming people or properties, it is important to get all the correct information, which isn't the case in the above from what we can see from the property file and speaking with the office. Clearly if your friend feels they wish to take the matter further please inform them to email info@beagroup.co.uk and we will be pleased to discuss the matter directly. In the meantime, we wish your friend all the best with their property search.

Charlie at Bradleys has been exceptional. His communication, diligence and work ethic are outstanding, and he worked incredibly hard on our behalf at every stage. Selling a home requires trust and professionalism, and Charlie delivered both in abundance. When we return to the market, Bradleys and Charlie will be our first choice without hesitation.

During a protracted sale of a property near Newquay, it has always been comforting to know that Bradleys were there when I needed them, to give advice and supply their impressive professional input. It helped that they have efficient and friendly staff at their Newquay branch. For the record, I chose Bradleys because of their extensive coverage in the south-west and their excellent reputation. I wasn't disappointed.

We recently purchased a new build at Nansledan from morrish homes through Bradley’s estate agent. Octavia was absolutely fantastic with making sure everything was running smoothly and always updating us. Our new home was beyond our expectations, the build and finish of the house is outstanding. We are so happy that we chose Bradley’s.

Octavia was outstanding from the first meeting to our house purchase completion. Not pushy like so many other estate agents we dealt with, just a really nice, kind, informative approach. Thanks for all your help and patience Octavia!

Such a frustrating sale with highs and lows and a final high. Kath helped us the whole way through and tried her hardest to get us through it. Generally really good communication and would use them again.

No human element here...

Saw a property to rent that looks ideal so clicked online to arrange a viewing. Took about 30 minutes to complete their registration as I had to open an Experian account to get my credit score - among other things! This was the first agency I had tried so assumed this was standard these days - it's not. The property I want to view does not allow children so while I currently have a 'child' as she is 17, she will be 18 in a couple of weeks - so by the time we move. Rang to get advice on how to complete the form and got an automated message redirecting me to fill in the online form! No space on the form to clarify any individual circumstances. Completed form and didn't hear back by weekend when I was hoping to view property. Sent email but understand it can take a day or 2 for a reply so found a customer services number - phoned hours before they shut and got automated message that operators were all busy and I could choose to hold. I held and just a minute later got a message that my call could not be taken and to call another time -no option to continue holding. The property I'm interested in was reduced in January and I thought initially this was due to lack of interest or something not obvious from the advertisement. I'm now inclined to believe it is due to noone being given the chance to view it! This is ridiculous. I have jumped through hoops to try and get a viewing, I am a reliable and honest tenant and have been in my existing rental nearly 7 years. I won't be renting through Bradleys now even if they do get back to me as I don't feel they are serving tenants or their landlords with this overly restrictive gatekeeping and do not trust that they would deal with any tenancy issues adequately in the future.

Huge thank you to all the team at Bradley’s Newquay for helping us to sell and buy and making our dream happen. Special thank you to Shah for looking after the sale and purchase, answering all our queries (there were a lot), and making sure our purchase was to our requirements and that we were happy with everything. Thank you also to Michelle for setting up the sale of our house, Kathleen for negotiating the sale and David for the smooth and stress-free mortgage service and Richard for overseeing it all. We found the whole team to be very professional and helpful and would not hesitate to use Bradleys again.

My first-time home-selling experience with Bradleys, particularly with agent Alex Kerry, was nothing short of exceptional. Alex and his team were consistently professional, always available to answer any questions, and made the entire process seamless. Highly recommended!

Very poor customer service.

I would have given a rating of zero if possible, but 1 star is way above what this company deserves. We used them as a letting agent for several years and our experience was of very poor customer service, usually just telling us what they thought we wanted to hear, when in reality they were not accurately reporting the condition of the property. The tenants were dirty and lazy, but none of this was reported in the periodic checks carried out by Bradley's. Even when there were problems with the state of the property, these were played down or even not reported to us. It took a visit in person by myself to see the poor condition and damage to our property, by which time eviction proceedings were under way. When the tenants eventually left, the check out report was carried out and not even dated, so there was no accurate proof of the condition of the property on this date. When asked about this, the staff became very defensive. This impacted on us, as the considerable damage and neglect to the property could not be fully claimed for, leaving us out of pocket. When trying to submit a claim to retain the deposit, Bradley's were of no help whatsoever, leaving us to do it all. Think very carefully before you use this company as a letting agent.
