GoogleI never look forward coming here, have waited anywhere between 1 to 4 hours to load a full load anytime I come here and thats me arriving at allocated booking time, toilets aren't clean, they have a canteen at the office block with vending machines and microwave that you can use which is a bonus, staff are friendly, sometimes you might have to go to 3 separate coldstores within the yard which is a slow process, if only they speed up the loading process it would be OK

GoogleBad working ethic, not a nice place to work for and I wouldn't recommend using them ever. No one cares how the products are looked after in the warehouses so much waste and damaged stock and this cost gets passed back to the consumer, skips of damaged fruit every day some could be put back in the communities but just chucked away. Always going against the BRC and pre-loading the trailer days before they should be when products should be staying in the warehouse so it dose not get spoilt, seen this 1st hand and when you tell them the unit is not functioning correctly they dont care, pass the blame and still ship the stock that's not sutible for consumption due to the temperature. New drivers made to drive without the cpc for weeks at a time and then told they have to say that they was on training. Drivers told to take breaks on bays and pushed to work 15 hours most days, below national minimum wage but told the production added to the wage compensates this what is the biggest joke going as the national minimum wage is what you should be getting as well as your production. Transport office, most of the staff dont have a clue about the work time directive or the driving hour laws, they are rude to the drivers and push them to and past the limits. Could be an excellent company if the management took some sort of responsibility and didnt pass the blame, they lie and abuse the staff and believe that they are protected because Turners its a multi-million pound company, I was told its not them what would get in trouble it would be the drivers as they have good solicitors are are protected.

GooglePlanners have poor planning and the drivers are expected to just get on with it. Drive facilities are non-existent at any yard. State of trucks is poor damaged dirty and old. Drivers are spoken to rudely like they don't matter. Office tries to play brain games with drivers telling them lies. There are other transport companies around which are alot better. dont waste your time at turners. 13hour days for minimum wage. £400 take home 60hour+ week.

GoogleAt the checkpoint you dictate the loading ref. You pull into the parking lot, find a storekeeper and tell which country you are going to, unload on the ramp for 1 hour and you are ready, wait for the documents for 1 hour, the staff is polite
