GoogleAghast at the arrogance and indifference received in response to our expressing our concerns and unhappiness with the service provided, or rather not provided! When first engaging Mitchell's, they seemed confident, professional and genuinely motivated. The details were produced quickly and professionally and looked great. Unfortunately, it was downhill all the way after that. Their efforts were limited exclusively to listing our property on Rightmove! Communication was woeful and limited to them returning our calls! (approximately once a month) No obvious proactive effort to stimulate interest, no updates priovided, no feedback provided on what we might do to stimulate interest ourselves, no visibility in their shop windows in either New Milton or Highcliffe branches and just a single viewing in over 3 months. All despite assurances that our property was at the right price point. Needless to say, we decided not to renew the contract with Mitchell's and to give the required notice period of 21 Days. After getting no response to our email, we called them. Again! The response from Mitchell's to this news and the disappointment and concern we expressed (which was offered genuinely politely and more in hope of an offer to step up a gear, than the expectation they actually would) was in fact greeted with complete huffy, arrogant indifference and the immediate termination of the contract, right there and then!! We were just left utterly shocked and incredulous! Anyone thinking of selling through Mitchell's, don't expect too much in the way of feedback, service, communication or results, as it seems that circa £8k isn't enough to get you those things these days! Beyond disappointed!

GoogleIt took nearly 12 months to sell my bungalow but Mitchells had their finger on the pulse all of the time . Graham always gave excellent advice and recommendations on how to proceed forward . Lewis assisted most of the viewings and was very polite and professional to myself and potential buyers . thanks Mitchells.

GoogleWhen it came to selling my parents house in the area, I was not familiar with local estate agents, so looked to GetAgent for recommendations. Top of their list was Mitchells, and having used them for the sale, I can see why they were highly recommended. Their valuation was spot on and they managed to get me an ideal buyer within a week. Everyone I have dealt with have all been really professional and great to deal with, including Graham with the first contact and valuation, Jake with viewings, and Mike keeping the selling process moving smoothly. I would thoroughly recommend Mitchells to anyone selling a property in the area.

GoogleWas very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy shown by Paul Briers and his colleagues at Mitchells Estate Agents. His respectful and sensitive approach to selling my late father’s property was invaluable. It was quickly made apparent that the fact that I no longer live locally and was trying to sell the property from a distance, was not going to be a problem. Paul’s research was very thorough. He sought the advice of an architect to ascertain whether the property had development potential. This advice, combined with his understanding of the local property market, ensured that any marketing was based on sound, informed knowledge and not guesswork. In addition, he also arranged for a local company to carry out the EPC survey and arranged a quote from a house clearance company so that I wouldn’t have the worry of doing so myself. Mitchells then later ensured that the clearance company would have access to the property during the second Covid lockdown so the necessary work could be carried out. This additional work, which went beyond merely marketing the property, no doubt saved me a substantial amount of time and money which would otherwise have been spent constantly travelling back and forth to the area. Once on the market, I was kept regularly informed of any developments and never felt “out of the loop.” Would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell. If I still lived in the New Forest, Mitchells would be my first choice to market my property.PositiveProfessionalism
