TrustpilotTime and time again having problems…
Time and time again having problems with them. Waste collection is a joke. Either dont collect or take bins etc and don't return them. Roads are undoubtedly the worst in wales .exorbitant council tax for 0 service. But don't worry there extending thier office while the high street is non existent. Roll on when reform win .lots of us here have had enough of this council wasting our money and gaslight us when we put official complaints in .shame on this council for the way you treat us ...... never mind whilst we struggle you gold plate your pensions and waste our money on woke projects to make you feel good......

GoogleI am really appalled and shocked with the staff behaviour I witnessed today at this office. I called to the office to drop in a form for some work being done at my property. When leaving the car park I was struggling to get through the barrier as I am not a member of staff therefore I did not have a key card to scan for the barrier to lift. The intercom was also not working so I was stuck. A large Que of cars built behind me and I said to the car behind I was really sorry as I’m not a member of staff the barrier won’t lift for me.I then tried to reverse back which the car behind me kindly moved for me to do so. Then all the others cars behind full of staff shot past me driving abruptly beeping and throwing their hands up at me. They could all clearly see I was struggling and nobody even offered to assist me. Appalled by the behaviour from the staff here as it was totally unnecessary , rude and un called for.

GoogleThis is without a doubt the worst council I've dealt with. They have constantly not dealt with our complaints. Mdont even answer email. Our local councillor never had the courtesy to answer us back. We have council owned trees blocking our light in our house 80foot plus high.pine needles damaged paintwork on cars ..twice a year at our expense having to clear thier tree rubbish at and despose of it..I can't wait until they try and canvas voters I shall be giving them some sound advice on they are employed by us and paid by us.im speechless about these council. I'm definitely voting reform all the way.....

GoogleI would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the Welfare Rights department at the Neath & Port Talbot Council Civic Centre. Their exceptional services, especially for Carers and various welfare-related issues, truly stand out. The Welfare Rights team provides prompt and effective assistance, offering invaluable support and guidance throughout the entire process.
I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking advice and help in these areas.

GoogleLooking to park in Port Talbot, we spotted a space. We are very careful not to park in disabled spaces, so we were looking for yellow lines and yellow disabled symbols.
However, we didn't notice the small display sign.
We got a ticket after visiting the Thai restaurant 'wanna thai food', which is excellent, by the way.
There are no distinguishing yellow lines to indicate disabled spaces. If you live in the town, this wouldn't affect you. If you are a disabled person looking for a space, you need excellent vision.
I would never deliberately park in a disabled space, but Neath Port Talbot council has, in my view, done the least necessary to catch drivers.
Well, this is short-sighted if you want to boost the local economy...we came from Brecon, but I can't see us returning anytime soon.
If you look around the town, every effort should be taken to boost the economy, but good on you council chiefs, you are negatively impacting your town.
It's such a shame! My fine is a one-off, where me returning to spend my hard earned cash is a benefit to the lovely people of Port Talbot!

GoogleAre you a builder or developer etc who likes to carry out work without proper and regulatory authorisations from Neath Port Talbot Council being in place? - and with the safe knowledge that they will not take any actions against you - if so - then this is the Borough for you! Welcome.....

GoogleA useless, greedy, bunch of pen pushing jobs worths with zero empathy, understanding and moral compass. A rotten institution, typical labour run council! Priorities back to front. Target the easy vulnerable members of society whilst shying away from real issues - because they are WEAK!! Sadly take enjoyment upsetting people with the small amount of “power” they THINK they have in their mediocre jobs but they are nothing once they leave the work room door & enter the real world.

GoogleVisited Neath and Port Talbot Council offices today. This was to apply for a blue disability badge for my husband. I was seen by a lovely lady on reception called Michelle. She was so helpful, supportive and professional. I was so impressed. A breath of fresh air in difficult times.

GoogleOn an emergency call out (I’m a plumber) I couldn’t find parking in the centre of Neath so went down to Miland road car park where I found the machine broken. With no time to spare I left the van there only to get a ticket. After speaking (only by email as you can’t get through on the phone) they are totally unsympathetic and told me to take legal action which will cost more than the £25 ticket! I feel robbed! And they’re doing it to loads of people

GoogleRuined the access and parking in Neath for neglected plants. Outpricing community business' and the beautiful listed/old buildings around in Neath town are falling into disrepair but it's okay because there's a giant breeze block of a building now sitting empty.

TrustpilotPositively surprised by the staff
I was pretty amazed by the service and kindness everyone provided me with when I went to the Minor Injuries Unit in Neath Port Talbot. Each of the staff was very professional and so lovely in the same time. The doctor explained everything thoroughly, and made sure I was left with no doubts. Deeply surprised in a good way!

GoogleI have just moved in to a property and have had to order new recycling boxes but have been told that if I want green bags for garden waste I will have to pay for them. As I am a new resident I don't see why I have to pay for them as I'm not asking for extra bags, just 2 to start with like every one else did when they came out.
