Simon and his team at Abbey Residential Agents in Neath is an independent agent that surpassed our expectations when selling our family bungalow after our disabled cousin went into residential care. From our initial meeting at the bungalow to the final completion handover, Simon was ever the professional, highly courteous during viewings and knowledgeable throughout. Simon made the process very simple, keeping us informed at all stages and guiding through the process with ease. I recently moved home staying within the Neath area and can honestly say it is purely down to Simon we got through the process. From the very start when he came to view my property for sale, he was very polite and very professional - instantly it was obvious he was experienced and a very knowledgeable estate agent. He was selling the property we were also interested in. I explained that due to my availability with work I was restricted to what days I was able to attend a viewing and he was happy to provide a viewing on the weekend when he was due to be off. The sale of my property was advertised very quickly. Available on his website and third-party websites such as OnTheMarket and Zoopla within days. We had our first viewing within 2 weeks of the advert going live and even received an offer on the first viewing. During the legal process I believe Simon saved the sale/purchase from going through. When all was failing with awful communication with the solicitors, Simon was always available to give us updates as he received them from the others involved in the chain. Even when I was able to get through to my solicitors to be told there was nothing new, Simon would be able to provide me details that he had received. Always one step ahead of the solicitors giving me information even the solicitors didn’t have. I was completely new to the process of selling/buying at the same time as I had only been a first-time buyer before. He was very patient and very informative of the process making sure we were aware of what to expect and what would be needed along the way. I am relieved that we chose to go through this process with Simon and very grateful for everything he was able to offer and provide to us, and if we decide to move again, we will definitely be contacting Simon again.

After having a few estate agents value my home, Simon was recommended to me by a friend. I’m so glad I went with him as not only was he a lot cheaper, but he’s been extremely professional and helpful throughout my sale. He dealt with all the viewings as I didn’t live at the property and he gave me updates after each one. After I accepted the offer, he continued to update me throughout the whole process and was back and forth between myself and the buyer whenever we needed him to. I rarely write reviews but Simon from Abbey Residential absolutely deserves a good one. When you are deciding if this review is impartial I can state this is and I haven’t been paid or rewarded to post the review. Simon offers a high quality and honest service. The sales brochure was good, the photos were good quality and were a true reflection of the property without filters and effects added. There was a virtual tour which also reflected the property accurately. He was very responsive to emails and calls always answering them within hours sometimes even within minutes. Simon made the sale process straightforward finding a buyer within 1 day. Regarding his fees, he is transparent with them and nothing is hidden, with a clear explanation given for how they are set. If you are looking for a high quality estate agent with good customer service at a reasonable price, contact Simon at Abbey Residential.

Simon at Abbey Residential put us at ease from introducing him to our previous home to completion date. He shows his enthusiasm and experience of selling houses from the first minute you meet him. Our previous house was advertised extremely professionally including a brilliant video walk through and beautiful pictures that really sold the property. It only took 3 days to sell the house. We had a property on sale with one of the "bigger" agents in neath for over 7 months and had few viewings and found we were chasing the agent for info/updates etc. We switched to Simon at Abbey and the property had 5 viewings and was under offer within 2 weeks. We can highly recommend Simon, a very professional approach and was in constant contact regarding viewings etc which he does on evenings and weekends which is also very useful and very few other agents do.
