I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. When we instructed this agency, we were assured that the office was well staffed and that they would conduct viewings on our behalf. However, on every single occasion a viewing was arranged, we were told they were unable to attend and we had to carry them out ourselves. This happened repeatedly, despite clear assurances at the outset that viewings would be handled by the agency. There were also multiple occasions where calls rang out in the “well staffed” office. This was particularly concerning as it potentially impacted prospective buyers trying to make contact and created an impression of poor availability. Throughout the sale process, communication was extremely disappointing. Numerous emails and phone calls at critical stages went unanswered, which caused unnecessary stress during what was already a complex transaction. What has been most frustrating is the continued lack of acknowledgement of these failings, even after a formal complaint was raised. Rather than addressing the service concerns constructively, the focus appeared to move straight to enforcing payment terms. Property transactions are stressful enough without added communication issues. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their service.

From first appraisal right through to completion I couldn't fault them. Ceri was by far the more diligent and prepared of all estate agents I had come around and it was an easy decision to make. Becky I know worked hard in bringing in viewings and trying to ultimately sell, then during the sales process she did everything she could to make it as smooth and stress free as possible. Cannot rate this team any "higher" superb from initial telephone call, home visit, pictures and on market sale. I was telephoned each day we had a viewing with any updates either positive or negative. Property was sold in one week the "for sale" sign did not even go up. My dedicated sales team Rebecca Marshall and Ian Kidd were superb cannot praise enough. Selling a home is stressful and having a team like this has been so positive.

The service is friendly and professional but personal. They made contact by phone each time a property met my requirements and made prompt viewing bookings when required. After a couple of years with another estate agent and only 3 views, I decided to go with a local one. What a wise move! I met Martin at my property and he was so professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt very comfortable and reassured by his manner and his thorough assessment and advice. Within a few weeks of taking on my property Martin took a viewer to see my property. Within a few months there were 2 more viewings and the third viewer put in an offer which I accepted. All through the selling process I was regularly given updates. If Martin was busy with other clients Caroline was regularly advising me of progress on an almost daily basis. My property was sold, Contracts exchanged within 3 months and was sold for much more than the previoud estate agent suggested I should expect. In my opinion, a local estate agent, with offices where prospective buyers can see properties available and receive the human touch, far exceeds the service of an internet only agent, where properties are advertised in their hundreds online. West Wales Properties and in my case, Martin and Caroline are the way forward. They give a complete, honest and personal touch and I highly recommend this company whether buying or selling a property. Ten out of ten.

Throughout the whole process found them to be very honest and professional, from the initial meeting to talk about marketing my property, to the final phone call to confirm completion. Martin gave me a realistic valuation of what I could actually achieve and we did indeed achieve a price very close to his valuation. We received a full marketing report every month to keep us fully informed of the interest shown in our property. Both Martin and Caroline were always available on the phone to answer any questions we had and both were very knowledgeable and clearly know their business. The help and advice given by Martin and Caroline on both the sale of our property and the purchase of our Bungalow was very professional and very personal.
