Rice Chamberlains are really highly regarded and after working with them I can see why! I worked with Luke, Molly, Shakira and Ashley at the Moseley Office - but James at the Bournvillle office also made valuable input too. They all really care, are incredibly professional but nice and it makes a huge difference. After a bad experience with another estate agent I wasted months (you really need the experience and passion these guys have ) so if you're buying, selling or renting I really recommend them.

The whole team at Rice Chamberlain exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process. We could not have asked for better support! The pictures, 360° virtual tour and marketing really made our house stand out in the market. Viewings were completed swiftly resulting in many sensible offers. Molly came to our house to talk everything through and put us at ease right away. Shakira's photos of our home made it look better than I could have imagined. The contact from the office with constant updates has been brilliant, we have also spoken with Luke who was lovely and every team member knew our house and were able to update us. We sold our house with Rice Chamberlains and they were first class from start to finish. Ash came to take our pictures, he retook a few of the shots to make sure they were perfect. Shakira conducted our viewings, she was brilliant, a great communicator and real friendly. Molly was the same and what I liked about them especially was that if one of them wasn't available to respond to an email, one of the others would to make sure you got a timely response. They were all very personable and I'd definitely use them again.

They returned our calls and responded to our e-mails in a very timely manner, and were always on hand to provide advice where necessary. We had a negative experience with a different chain prior to this, so it was relief to us when it became apparent that RC the complete opposite! It's hard enough when making a decision to sell your house and choosing the right agent to sell for you. We had some mixed experiences with Rice Chamberlain however we thought better the Devil you know! We arranged a valuation with the receptionist however the valuer failed to show. I called to see what the holdup was with the agreed appointment. The receptionist thought we were going into the Moseley office, she apologised! however not a good start. Why would we organise a valuation of the house and not expect the agent to come and view the house? Since the agent was last at the property, over a decade earlier, we have spent over £30,000 on home improvements, re-designing the whole space downstairs. My partner decided to pop in to the Moseley office, after a chat, the valuer is now coming over today. The valuer was great, friendly and helpful which has put some faith back into the process. I would still like to share that on one occasion, whilst renting the property, the existing tenants left the back garden and front drive in a terrible state. I complained to one of the Directors of Rice Chamberlains who promised that he would cover the cost of work required to get the front drive and back garden back up to presentable standards and for us to agree to release the landlords holding deposit, our lack of landlord experience meant we followed this advice, however the Director failed to honour his promised obligation (which was also confirmed with an email) and reimburse us for the work done! Let this be a warning to you! sellers and buyers beware this agency is not all it’s cracked up to be and does not help Estate Agents reputation. I stand by every word written here.

I can fully recommend he Moseley office of Rice Chamberlains, especially Ashley and Molly, who handled a recent property sale for me. When I first met Ashley I immediately felt that he was the best of the various agents I had spoken with, he was well prepared for our initial meeting, was very enthusiastic and explained how they would approach the sale. Once we went to market they handled all the viewings and bids very well and provided good advice on the merits of each bid we received. Having chosen the buyers we wanted to proceed with they handled the rest of the sale very well, particularly towards the end when we had some challenges to overcome further down the chain. All in all, they provided a great service and were always very pleasant to deal with both in person and over the telephone.
