Beyond ludicrous.I attempted to sell my property 4 times with them over a 7 month period. Offers were accepted but on all accounts they failed to move sale to close. Mixed messages, stories changed, one team members in particular failed to negotiate through issues and it was up to me to chase them. I pulled the plug after realising they did not have my interest at heart, went to a competitor solid at asking price in 1 week!Avoid this company at all costs, happy to discuss in more detail as I never want anyone to have to deal with these people in the way I had to.

Mannington Staintone is one of the Property Company whose some of their Mortgage Advisers are very Discrinatory and Racist.ReasonsI recently wanted to buy a property which they have put on the market (4 Abbeydale Way, Kirmstall Leeds) .During one of our conversation, a gentle man called, Darren Hughes from their Beeston office who calls himself a Mortgage Adviser made an unacceptable comments.1) When he called me, the first thing he asked was, do you hold a British passport? The answer I gave was yes. Then he again asked, are you a dual national individual?2) He asked again of where I work. I told him that I have one Fixed contract and one part time which I have been doing for 10 years. His next question was, what kind of experience have I got to be given that fixed contract in that particular job environment? In fact this question hit me hard and I became a bit angry. So I told him that he was getting too personal. I do not know when it has become a law in the history of Great Britain that you can only buy a property when you are A British national. I do not also know when Mortgage Advisors have now become employers who question what experience a potential buyer has before being employed in their jobs. I believe that if I were an indigen British, he would never ask me these questions. If Britain calls herself a diverse country, then this behaviour should be looked at and nipped in the bud completely because it has no room in our society. I will continue to escalate this until my voice is heard and such people are punished so they don't perpetuate that unto other vulnerable individuals in our society. I would advise anyone of an ethnic minority origin should be careful or think twice if you are thinking of using this company to get unto their property ladder, especially using some of their so called Mortgage Advisers.

Moortown branch as a lettings agent throughout my tenancy were utterly useless, incompetent, rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. When the landlord decided to sell the property I had notice to leave, all fine. When it came to getting my bond back they stated the landlord wanted all of my bond for various reasons. Reasons that were beyond ridiculous. Apparently they don’t keep records of changes agreed such as furniture removals, decorating, all agreed by the landlord. Trying to penalise me for furniture removed years before, again agreed. It was a long stressful battle that took me to ask a solicitor to write to them, and only then did they give me only half my bond. 3 years later I received a letter from a solicitors, of the landlord stating that I owed 2 weeks rent. This came out of the blue. I’ve contacted Manning Staintons twice and received no response. If I owed that surly they would know?! Why I’m I being penalised for their incompetence? I’m fuming. They don’t even have the decency to respond. Avoid at all costs!Manning Stainton have responded to my review and I have emailed Mr Manning as he suggested
Hi Sarah, Im really sorry to have read your review on the service we have provided and can only seek to reassure you that deductions from a tenants deposit are only taken in instances where there is no other choice. Sadly I can see that was very much one of those cases and so I feel your review is somewhat unfair especially given the time that has elapsed since your tenancy ended which is over 3 years ago.
