I have a new Gleeson Home at MacDonald Park. I'm extremely happy with the new home. From the day 1 when I visited the showroom, then choose my dream house, till now completion and get the keys, those sales staff are very helpful and responsible. I was kept inform the construction stages of my property, even during the lock down period.On the day of final checking, I had prepared some A4 paper to write down the defects, but at last, I didn't need to use it. Only 2 minor defects were found. The site manager fixed them all on the following days.The site manager is experience with patient to explain everything of my house in details. The sales lady Madam Sue is good, friendly and helpful.Perhaps, you may read many different reviews saying how bad Gleeson was. But you must browse the instagram, then you knows there are lots of happy faces whom with a Gleeson home. At least, you should visit the site and talk to those home owners, you know the facts. Finally, I must say thank you to Gleeson Home. They build the affordable nice new homes so that I can be one of the home owner.

Pinfold Park, Bridlington, East Riding. Type of house is a 2 bedroom Kerry.I have lived in our Gleeson home for 18 months , and feel I am now in the position to give an honest review of my personal experience.The sales lady was friendly and approachable and not pushy at all. She supported us in making sure we picked the right home to suit our needs.The house was ready in the said timeframe.The site manager checked in on us regularly after moving in to make sure everything was going well with our new home.Of course we have had some snagging issues, which one expects in a new build, but these have all been dealt with quickly and everything rectified to our satisfaction, apart from one.We did have a problem with yellowing gloss paint work in our hallway, down to the lack of natural sunlight and the gloss used, this defect was declined under the 2 year warranty( yes I said 2 years).But we decided to gloss all the paintwork ourselves in the whole house. Rather than paint the internal doors we decided to replace them with oak doors. So on this occasion I am pleased the defect was declined as the outcome was actually more satisfactory.All of the tradesmen who we have had dealings with have been friendly, respectful of our property and efficient. I can not fault them.Pinfold Park estate has a welcoming community feel, everyone is friendly and all I have spoken to love their new homes as I do.Am I happy with my Gleeson home? 100%Would I recommend buying a Gleeson home? 100%

Trustpilot'Cold' personality
The lady (Karen based in Gleeson office in Sheffield, there are two Karens), who I spoke on the phone with was so 'cold'. It's been a long time since I felt so uncomfortable on the phone. Even if I did like the property I wouldn't proceed buying the house because of her. I can't imagine purchasing a house and need to deal with her. I visited one property a couple of weeks ago. Karen, did not bother at all. She just pointed me the house from her chair, she did not move at all. I went to the house and I thought it was locked so I asked for her assistance. The lady rolled her eyes, came at the door and says 'here, is open' and then went back to her office. I did like the fact that I viewed the house on my own pace to be fair, because, don't get me wrong, I would've feel so uncomfortable being in the same room with the lady. I have never given a bad review before based on personality but my experience with Karen was horrible. Such a cold personality, for me personally, she's driven me away.

But what made this even more special was Toni in office she showed us round all homes available and sorted out fitted wardrobes even electrics in garage. She very polite and helped us in everyway

I bought a house on the Greymoor meadows site in Carlisle. The process of purchasing the house was made straightforward by the sales woman Zara. When I moved in the site team of Trevor (site manager) and Joe (assistant site manager) were more then helpful with providing me a skip for my rubbish. I would definitely recommend buying a Gleeson home for the product and the service.

I wouldn't even give them one star if I could!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM GLEESON THEY COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! Where do I bloody begin, we bought a home just shy of 3 years ago and we had problems from the start.... not only has the incompetence of gleeson salespeople cost me thousands of pounds with British gas, their incompetent builders are now costing me thousands to rectify the appalling builds on these houses! Gleesons want absolutely nothing to do with it either instead you just get sh*tty responses from customer complaints. So thanks gleesons, not quite 3 year old house and I'm not left in crippling debt and a front door I can't even shut or lock! We we warned but as niave 21 year olds we thought well they can't be that bad..... believe me they are!!!!

Nightmare, poor quality houses, built bad, so much so nhbc now involved, site management a joke, they are a disgrace, never return to fix faults, place is a building site but it looks like a tip/dump, sales are liars interested in the commission only. There is a 60 foot maintain of gods knows what because they have not paid to remove the excavated earth, rats foxes blocked drains. Site treat your property as if it was still a gleeson plot. Of course go a head and buy they are cheap, but please please sign nothing till every thing is done and get everything in writing with the names of who you spoke too.

I recently purchased a property from Gleeson Homes and had mixed feelings about the experience. While the initial buying process appeared smooth, I was disappointed that some promised repairs and enhancements were not followed through. Communication and accountability issues from Gleeson left me somewhat frustrated. However, I've encountered helpful staff like Jodie and Glenn who provided good support along the way. There also seems to be excellent customer service at some sites, as highlighted by other reviewers. If you're considering buying from Gleeson, it's important to ensure any promises are backed by a commitment to deliver. Overall, a satisfactory experience but with room for improvement.

I highly impressed of the service of the staff at the Gleeson Homes Burnley , I just visited the Gleeson office in Burnley with the dream of a new home, without knowing anything of the buying process of home a new home. Wonderfully every single member of the staff of the Gleeson guided us to our dream home with excellent support.Specially Victoria did an amazing job to find out the best possible options yo find out the type of home suitable to my family and even the mortgage. She is such a women I have ever seen who supports the individual step by step to overcome their dreams successfully. I highly recommend the Gleeson Home to anybody to overcome their dream houses cone true.

Very unhappy! At the start of June 2024 Gleeson attempted to clear a duct that was for open reach to be installed, which was meant to be done prior to me moving in 2 years previous. This has resulted in a sink hole appearing in my drive that just keeps getting bigger and bigger meaning I can’t use half my drive! I’ve spoken with many people from Gleeson on site who have promised to get this resolved. It’s still not resolved and better yet they’ve never even bothered to contact me back as promised. This sink hole was caused by Gleeson and yet they haven’t resolved it. Or replaced the bricks in my walls where they’ve drilled through destroying 6 bricks

This is my first time buying a house And the sales team were very helpful, they’ve gave me updates throughout Telling me what stage the house is at And when it would be built. They recommended solicitors for me and also a mortgage provider. Overall, it’s been a great service but My house isn’t currently built yet and Won’t be built till next year. I was a bit disappointed about the upgrades list as you weren’t able to customise the house as much as I would like to have, Not being able to put a ethernet cable socket upstairs for extra Wi-Fi is the only reason I haven’t gave five stars they need to update their upgrades list.

The buying process was smoothHowever, we noticed most of the fitted items are poor quality products.We have just been in our new home for just a little over a year and things are falling apart.Our bath is shaking and noisy when you step into it.Our ensuite bathroom floor was not properly supported which resulted that when you step into it, you would feel it sinking under your feet which later resulted in a split and water leaking into the ground floor. When we reported it, it was rejected saying it was not there during demonstration. I wrote to the CEO who forwarded my email to another department and I got the same reply.Our ground floor WC water tank pulled out of the wall as a result of poor work and when reported, it was refused. This same wc had issues at the beginning which resulted in 3 inspections before been approved by NHBC.I regret buying a Gleeson home and would not recommend.

Had no end of issues with the house from the en suite constantly leaking and needing ripped out every year, right to a complete flood due to a water pipe coming slack and flooding the house. Which due to it being out of the 2 year warranty they want nothing to do with… please do not buy a gleeson home or you will regret it. I will do everything to stop people buying their poor built homes.

We recently bought a house in Carlisle and had Naomi Bell dealing with us, honestly we couldn’t have asked for anyone better!We had quite a few issues regarding the mortgage but she was always so patient and supportive. She made the house buying experience amazing for us, always smiling and always happy to answer any questions no matter how big or small. She kept us up to date constantly so we knew exactly where we were at.We honestly can’t thank her enough for everything, her bubbly, positive personality definitely made the most stressful times feel easier! Now we have finally moved into our beautiful Fergus and we love it!!
