5 stars is what the Saltburn Ewemove team - Sean, Nicola and Suzanne - deserve for their excellent service selling my home. For the initial valuation, Sean brought up a bespoke document giving recent sale prices and time on the market for roughly comparable properties, which helped me decide on a price. The Rightmove entry included a floor plan as standard, which I consider essential. Including Xmas and New Year, it took 5.5 weeks on the market to get a buyer. Ewemove carried out the viewings and offered evening, weekend and daytime appointments. This worked very well, as frank conversations took place and I got immediate face to face feedback from the agent. After the solicitors took over and it was quiet, Ewemove kept in touch with me. The team were professional and friendly. They were proactive. They made me feel important as a customer and I have no hesitation about recommending Saltburn Ewemove.

Sean visited my house for a valuation on the property. He was very charming with a lovely personality. He was also well prepared as I could tell Sean did his research. He was able to answer my questions and was able to provide me with a clear report and calmly discussed options/next steps if I were in a position to sell my property. He also explained the plus points of the house and the ways I can improve the property to attract market buyers. I could tell Sean enjoys meeting new people and enjoys putting their needs first. I was so impressed with Sean’s diligence, availability, personal approach, genuineness and ‘on it ness’ as the estate agent for a house I was looking to buy that I decided to use EweMove to sell our house too. All these things were the case too as we looked to sell our house. The pictures were amazing too and shone our house in its best light. Always kept updated either through Sean or Nicola, who proved to have the same qualities as Sean did and they were so in sync with each other too, which meant for seamless communication. Moved into the property almost a month ago, I needed a specific date so I gave permission for there to be no cleaning before I moved in, but I would still expect a proper inspection before I moved in which clearly didn't happen as many things are in poor condition. The previous tenants had left large items, one of them covered in mould that has just been sat in the flat the whole time as it's too big to dispose of myself, which I have also reported but this hasn't been removed yet. Reported the washing machine was broken, was told it was a 'gifted item' & not the landlords responsibility. Something I don't necessarily have issue with, but no one had told me this before moving in & was told specifically that the washing machine was 'included' at the viewing. I Immediately had issues with the shower not draining, can't use it as within 5 minutes it's flooding the bathroom. Tried to fix it myself by cleaning the drain ect, didn't work, so I reported it on the maintenance portal as I'm supposed to. The welcome pack says that they try to sort non emergency issues 'the next working day', almost a week later I still hadn't heard anything & had to chase it up. Was told the landlord had approved the things that needed doing & I'll hear from a contractor soon. Another week later I still hadn't heard, received an email saying that the contractor had tried to contact me on Monday (I didn't have any missed calls & my phone is fully working) so I had to ring them myself on the Thursday now 2 weeks after I originally reported. Arranged for the contractor to come on Sunday (today) after 11, waited until 1, no notice or sign of anyone coming. Texted, no reply. Tried to ring no answer. Then received a text from the contractor saying they weren't coming as the landlord didn't approve the works.. the contractor had to chase the office to find out if they could do the job that morning & they said no. No one decided to tell me, I woke up early on a Sunday morning, sat around for 2 hours, organised my whole day around it just for no one to turn up, so I'll have to organise another day to sort it and no one from the office decided to tell me that the appointment had been cancelled. Obviously furious, I have a shower I can't use since moving in, I've had to walk to my parents every morning to shower (thankfully this is an option, no idea what I'd do otherwise) & ewemove know this. Also I was told in the email the work had been approved, that's literally why the contractor had been booked in in the first place. Truthfully I've had a pretty terrible move in experience which doesn't give me very much hope of living in this property at all.

I booked a viewing for a property and took time off work specifically to attend. I received confirmation emails and text messages confirming the date and time of the appointment. I arrived at the property as scheduled and waited approximately 15, 20 minutes. When no one arrived, I attempted to contact the office by phone but received no answer. I then sent an email and was informed that the property had already been sold and that no one would be attending the viewing. I was also advised that someone should have contacted me to inform me of this, which unfortunately did not happen. This situation was extremely frustrating and inconvenient, particularly as I had taken time off work based on the confirmed appointment.
