Cannot fault this team on their communication, support and help throughout our move. We came to the Stowmarket branch after the sale of our home with other agents fell through, greeted by Scarlett who made us feel heard and validated on our experience. The team met with us, valued the property and took photos getting us back on the market quickly and really listened to our worries as we needed to sell to not lose our new purchase. They got multiple of viewings to us within the first few weeks and thankfully our journey could continue. We had the wonderful Scarlett on hand to keep us posted on the sale, do any chasing and explaining as well as chivvy things along when others seemed to slow our process down. Scarlett has been so kind, personable, hard-working and genuine throughout this process and was a joy to work with. Scarlett is fantastic at her job, which made our process a lot easier. I also want to thank the other team members at the Stowmarket branch for their support in our sale and communicating with us if Scarlett was unavailable. I write this over a week since moving into our new home, blown away to receive a follow up message from Scarlett to check we were settling in well. Thank you William H Brown for being real and genuine, I do advise this company if you are local to Stowmarket.

Seller our house through William H Brown in Stowmarket has been a very positive outcome! We have had Stuart and his team working hard to bring lots buyers through the door! Initially we had an early offer, then when that one didn’t go beyond the first stage! We then had another buyer, without any fault from WHB the chain fell through! We’d like to give a huge shout out to team, especially Niamh who found us another buyer! We knew and felt she was routing for us in finding the right buyer! It's mine and my husband's first time buying a house and all the staff we have interacted with have been nothing short of professional. When we were first shopping around for a mortgage in principal from other companies, they explained nothing to us. With William H Brown, we had an hour long phonecall with Luke Horrex (also works at the Bury branch) who explained everything to us and did a perfect job at putting our minds at ease. We felt reassured and comfortable through this daunting process. Luke secured our confidence so much, we decided to continue this journey with William H Brown. Luke in fact helped a friend of mine with securing her first home, and he came highly recommended. I can safely say, I'll be doing exactly the same! The communication between staff has been incredibly clear. Luke forwarded us onto Niamh Howard to help us find properties that met our criteria, and she was absolutely brilliant. She was quick to get things organised and kept us regularly updated. The houses William H Brown offered were all very clean and well presented. It made it very hard to make a decision! But Niamh was never pushy - always gave us an adequate amount of time to consider things and even helped with offering points for us to think about and questions to ask. We decided on a house and then it was over to the next member of staff, Stuart Ellis. What an extremely happy chappy he is! Incredibly hardworking and consistently gives five-star, cheery customer service despite working long days that even extend past the office hours! He is completely dedicated and a valuable asset to William H Brown. Again, Stuart keeps communication open and clear and has been very quick to push through our paperwork on securing the sale of the house. His work was absolutely instrumental in our success to securing our first home. We are looking forward to meeting both Luke and Stuart at our next appointment. Putting some faces to some heroic names! If and when we come to sell our house, we have no doubt in our minds about using William H Brown. But we will 100% recommend this company, team and these specific members to any person going through the same process as us, or for any housing needs! Our deepest thanks, to you all! Niamh took us to a number of properties on the 14/09. She did this on what should have been her day off but she understood the urgency we have to find a property. Within 2 hours of me contacting her she had managed to get us to see every property I had listed to her. On the viewings she was brilliant, very professional and polite the whole way through. PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

All I can say is they are shocking

All I can say is they are shocking. They have a brilliant sales pitch to get you hook on using them to sell your property then once you agree the service they provide goes downhill from there. 99% of the viewings are time wasters as they are not vetted before viewing that they are even interested or proceedable to purchase. They promise open house viewing days but have never once done anything like that. Communication is poor and I'm always chasing them for everything. You get sent offers you accept them then they say the buyer has lowered their offer will you accept it.

After Buying our first property from Lee at William H brown I can say if something could go wrong it did. This was however not the issue of William H brown but the developers / sellers of the property. Lee has been amazing throughout the process providing us with updates and general communication throughout and reassuring us of where things were and chasing the appropriate parties. Whenever Lee was out of office we also had the pleasure of speaking to both Stuart and Georgia all of whom were very polite welcoming and willing to help out where ever possible. What has been a generally highly stressful experience was certainly made better by Lee Georgia & Stuart. Honestly Thank you all for your patience we really appreciate everything you have all done to get this sale through. You certainly all deserver a few drinks.

I am trying to buy a property and keep having to ring them for progress report to see if my offer has been accepted. Two weeks later still no progress. I give up.
