Excellent communication and progression service instrumental in ensuring we secured our forever home

From viewing our first house, to finding our forever home, John knew exactly what we were looking for. He did a great job communicating with us and the vendors and we always knew where we stood throughout the process. The team at Winkworth work as one, as demonstrated by Guy who was the one who communicated our offer to the vendors in John’s absence. During the conveyancing process, the team excelled at liaising with all parties in the chain and Guy was instrumental in ensuring successful completion before Christmas. We would not hesitate to use Winkworth in the future, their service stood out compared to other estate agents we have dealt with.

John and Guy were really so helpful to me as a first time buyer, organising multiple viewings for me at the flat, helping me to measure walls, answering all my many emails, chasing for updates from solicitors, and being so helpful when the solicitors went radio silent on the days leading up to exchange. I am a landlord in the Willesden Green area many years and would like to give a positive review of the superb service I receive from the Winkworth. The team in the Kensal Rise and Queens Park office are always extremely supportive and always on hand to provide guidance especially with the current changes in the private rental sector. This service extends to dealing with any maintenance issues, prompt statement sending and tenant changeover, so basically the whole package for a landlord. I would also like to give a name mention of my main contacts at the office, Aaron, Fabian, Stanislava, Michael and Yanick who are always so pleasant and accommodating to do business with.

Avoid this agency if you value your…

Avoid this agency if you value your deposit. The end-of-tenancy process was is a nightmare. They submitted a fraudulent invoice as evidence in a TDS deposit dispute. I contacted the company named on the invoice directly and they confirmed in writing they had never attended the property and the invoice number belonged to a completely different property for a job dated 7 months ago. I reported them for fraud.

Looking for a property is always stressful especially with this being my first; and so, when you encounter agents that are not just agents, but human beings, not just seeing you as commission but a fellow person, in need of help and a positive experience, meeting someone like Stephen reminds one of how the standard should be. Stephen stands out for his truly human approach, his deep understanding of the local property market and determination. In addition, Stephen demonstrates a very high ethical standard; honest, integral and transparent, always providing clear explanations and keeping me informed throughout the process, good and (more often) the bad. NO ELECTRICITY FOR 3 DAYS

I am extremely disappointed with my experience renting through Winkworth. When I moved into my new flat, the agent failed to provide me with the gas card/key. I moved here from the US so I did not know that was something that I needed. As a result, my electricity was cut off for almost three days during my very first weekend in the property. I had no light, no heating, and no hot water for close to 72 hours.

Mana and Rosie have been gentle, supportive and efficient during the stressful process of selling our family home of 18years. From the thoroughly professional approach and presentation of options to the delightful box of goodies handed to me on the last day… it had the things I simply could not remember where I had packed them - like tresseme hair conditioner… how did they even know this is the exact brand I love ❤️ and at the moment I most needed it ! Despite how many spreadsheets / notebooks and post it’s were completed with organisation - many many things are still separated from me in one of the 50 packed boxes !!
