Very poor valuation. Took over 4 weeks for information to be passed onto mortgage lender. Lender advised out IfA that the valuer had used 'outdated terminology ' that lenders no longer use and he would not clarify any points in a timely fashion leading our 'portable ' product to run out of time. Poor professionalism

We asked for a survey with option, to cover any risk. When we moved in we discover on one window, the double glazing was not sealing and the window was full of humidity between the glasses. They replied their check is done on a sample of window not all of them.For this we paid £700.

Awful service. Have rented my house through connells for the last year. The service was so bad it putt me off renting it out again. No communication. I had to chase up inspections. Rent payments. Was over changed for work they carried out. It's been a year of pure hell

Winchester lettings are utterly incompetent and I believe corrupt. I am a landlord, Connells collect the rent but then don't pass it on to me, currently the rent is 23 days late despite the tenant paying on time. The lie, lie and lie. Please go elsewhere. Certainly don't even deserve 1 star

I am sick of being harassed by this company. Despite telling them numerous times to stop calling me they continue to call from different branches. The advice we received wasn’t up to scratch so we went with someone else but it doesn’t stop Connells calling every other day.

Can we take your number and call you back?"Are morning meetings more important than potential customers?

Terrible company who tried re build a previous chain after agreement of a new sale. Thankfully we was one step ahead of connells and there plans didn't go as they had planned. Terrible branch very deceitful. Would not be buying or selling through them again.

Very disappointed with the way our house purchase was handled. During a very stressful time of lockdown/covid I felt the communication was either non-existent or aggressive and accusatory. Things did improve once the office manager became involved but it was a shame it had to escalate to this point.

I have found the Watford branch to be poor as managers for my property. I was constantly dealing with different people; they lost paperwork and emails; were resentful and rude when asked to do anything and were huffy and even more unhelpful when I suggested I would be switching to another agent.

Tried to book a viewing on a house in Malvern on Monday morning, three days later having chased them once more and they still haven't bothered to return our call or confirm the viewing. I hope the vendors know how useless their agents are being. Not a proactive service for either buyer or seller!

Connells were absolutely amazing and my house was sold in 4 days. They were very supportive and I received excellent communication and updates from them. I would thoroughly recommend them. They are passionate about their job and you will not be disappointed with their service.

Awful experience using them as the agent for letting my property. Poor communication, underpayments, late rent collections, instances where I have been charged twice for services. Unprofessional, disorganised and quite frankly incompetent. Would not use their letting services again and would strongly discourage any other landlords from doing so.

The worst agency ever. Have to wait for their reply for weeks and still the issue haven't been resolved. Had to claim a deposit back, as the tenants left the property completely destroyed, waited for three month and when it's time to get money for decoration, they just ignoring your emails.

I met Connells estate after being disappointed by a different agency. Emma Lowey at Poole branch is just exceptional character, so dedicated and helpful and follow up till you are satisfied with fast response to mails and calls, very happy I did rent through them.

Surveyor came out house was untidy Tennant had been unwell, rushed in to hospital. Surveyor proceeded to gove his opinion on how bad the market was and it was a shame the house was untidy, and then valued it at 8k under what it was valued at 6mths previous shocking

I'm happy with Connells service to me as Landlord. They deal with all and any small issues, and are in general very helpful. I have found them to be fast and efficient, contacting me quickly when an issue required fast action. I feel they have integrity and are honest, straight dealers.

DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT. Very poor service, no effort in trying to sell my property and complete lack of communication. Tried to put several potential buyers off viewing my property saying the area is not a good selling point. Go elsewhere and use someone who wants to do an honest days work!
