Where do I even start! Rebecca and the team at Howland Jones are the reason we are in our new home! We had a lot of trouble with our solicitors, but Rebecca was on top of it all! Phone calls and emails all day everyday, chasing up our solicitors and our buyers solicitors. I cannot recommend Howland Jones enough, especially Rebecca and Katie! Katie showed us around our new home for our viewing back in April, she was very professional, could answer all of our questions and was on top of any queries we had. Exceptional service and if we move again we will definitely be back! Can’t thank you ladies enough x

I can't thank Katie enough for everything she's done throughout the sale process. She worked tirelessly from start to finish, constantly chasing solicitors and the buyers, and acting as the vital go-between for all of us. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She was quick to respond, incredibly efficient, and kept me updated at every stage. Her hard work and dedication made a stressful process so much smoother. I have many things to say about the service I received from Howland Jones recently, particularly from Rebecca and Hannah. From an expertise and knowledge point of view, the agents showed a good understanding of the current market, which allowed me to make informed choices during a stressful and uncertain time. The communication was excellent throughout the whole process. Rebecca and Hannah were consistently responsive and attentive to my needs and concerns. This included them sharing updates, answering queries, and just provided me with great open dialogue throughout the course of the house move. Throughout the process, I felt as though they listened and understood where I was coming from, which in turn allowed me to develop trust and confidence with them, which is what one needs during one of the most stressful events anyone will experience! Finally, the agents as a whole were professional and honest, and I genuinely felt that my interests were at the heart of their work. If you want to rent a property and receive full deposit back then do not bother. I wish I was pro-active before viewing the property and read the reviews before going into contract with Howland Jones. Once keys handed back you don't receive ANY communication and have to chase on numerous occasions to even get a response back. Property was in better state than when I originally moved in and no consultation after move out date with regards to any issues. It was over a month after handing the keys back that I received any kind of response from the estate agents, but guaranteed if money was owed to them, responses would've miraculously been quicker. If I could give them 0 stars I would, definitely wouldn't recommend.

If I could give this Estate Agent a zero I would! Myself and my Husband were the first to view a property on their listing and the first to put an offer in on the said property. This offer was initially rejected so we put a second higher offer in to be told that there were still several viewings to be had but our offer was thankfully received and they (Katie Fovargue is who we dealt with) would be in touch to keep us updated. We were NOT kept informed and had to contact the Estate Agent ourselves only to be told another offer had been accepted! Not only is this unacceptable and rude but these clearly do not understand that peoples lives are behind these offers and to be ignored is outrageously inconsiderate! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! In response to your reply, we were not reliant on a sale either because our house was sold (with NO chain) but all of that is irrelevant! The bottom line is we put TWO offers in for a house and were virtually ignored like we were nothing! And as for the relevant training, you did that in the few hours since I made the phone call and left the review??? May I suggest that training in customer service takes a little while longer than that! We were treated disgracefully!

Me and my partner bought our first house through Howland Jones recently, our estate agent was Rebecca MacDonald. I can’t put in to words how incredible she has been from start to finish. She always kept us updated with all information, no question was too big or too small for her to answer and even if she was unsure of anything, Rebecca didn’t rest until she got to the bottom of it. Amazing experience when buying our first home in February. We were very nervous along the way due to being first time buyers and things happening throughout the chain. Rebecca was always on hand to guide and reassure throughout no matter what, and she certainly did that - she felt like a very knowledgeable friend to talk to when everything was going wrong! Very professional and friendly, Jon made a slick video with great audio of our bungalow. Katie, in particular, was very hard-working and communicative (which is what you want) and we sold our house within quite a short time but when you have a long chain, it can get very complicated with ups and downs. Everything though was dealt with very well by the team and it all went well in the end. We will definitely be selling our next house with them once the housing market is back up and running. Highly recommend.

Rebecca was, in the particular process I was involved, the only helpful intermediary. If I did not have someone as responsive, understanding and professional at the end of the phone, the process would have been considerably more stressful. Rebecca is an articulate professional in her field and a credit to the company. Absolutely brilliant estate agents! I personally dealt with Rebecca McDonald and she was amazing. Took all of the stress out of moving. Rebecca dealt with everything from valuing our house all the way through to completion and anything in between. There was great communication between the estate agents and fishers (the solicitors they recommend), we never had to chase anything up and it wasn’t a straightforward chain. From start to finish the entire team at Howland Jones have been amazing. We were entering the process of selling a house for the first time and originally listed our property with another agent prior to Howland Jones (an error of judgement my wife definitely won’t let me forget)!! From all the initial discussions between my wife and Rebecca Macdonald, the open and honest advice from Jon Howland on his visit, we knew we were in safe hands and our property was with a team who genuinely cared about both what they do and for their clients. Rebecca and Katie kept us constantly updated once we had agreed a sale and kept the chain moving at pace, even with some unexpected hiccups towards the end they never faltered. Rebecca and the team was always on hand to speak to, on the phone or via email and we never once had to chase for any updates and nor did we ever feel the need to. I dealt with Katie and Rebecca at Howland Jones for the sale of my property and they have been awesome to work with! They stood out as being very practical, up-front and on the front foot about selling the house and that stayed the case throughout the whole journey. Exceptional service for landlords! Meticulous procedures, great communication and expert advise. I would never attempt to manage my property myself, knowing what expertise I gain from Rebecca and her team. An agency worth their weight in gold!!
