Having previously purchased my home through Sherry Fitz back in 2006, I was happy to return when the time was right to resell my home. Karen Germaine was extremely professional and a very easy individual to get along with. She gave me an honest assessment of the market and set my expectations around the price I could expect. At the time of going to market, houses were only available for virtual viewings but despite this limitation she generated a lot of interest in the property and I was delighted with the outcome. I was particularly impressed with her level of engagement with interested parties, who were well supported for virtual viewings. Karen gave me insights into the different parties to help me make an informed decision on who was the right purchaser for my home. She also advised me on the market as I searched for a new home to purchase closer to Dublin. Karen was easy to reach by phone, text or email and when she was away, the Sherry Fitz office was brilliant at handing queries and keeping the communication and process seamless. Highly recommend Karen Germaine and the Sherry Fitz team in Maynooth - thank you for everything!

Having previously purchased our home through Eamon back in 2013 and experienced his high level of service and professionalism, we didn't hesitate to go through Eamon and the team to sell our home in 2020. Eamon gave us an honest assessment of the market and set our expectations around the price we should expect. He also helped us to find our new home and managed both our new purchase and sale. Really hate using Sherry Fitzgerald,

Really hate using Sherry Fitzgerald,In the process of buying property. I was interested in a property in Maynooth. I was obliged to register with their on line bidding system so as to give my offer. I was immediately out bid by 1st time buyer who would never get loan approval on this property as there were substantial alterations needed. If you want an auction try bidx at least you know everyone is playing the same game. So, if your selling with Sherry Fitz I wont be bidding unless its an absolute bargain pitched way below market value.

Totally Disgraceful

Totally Disgraceful. We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.

Great communication and really helpful throughout the process, even sending us in the right direction when we needed a local surveyor last minute on bank's request. Disappointing experience. It felt like half the staff were constantly on leave, which caused serious delays and left me chasing them repeatedly for updates. Communication was poor, and getting anything done took far more effort than it should have.
