I used this agent when searching for a rental property for my daughter and son-in-law in the Penkridge area. I am delighted to report here about their fair and highly commendable approach when dealing with prospective tenants, which sets them apart, and in my opinion raises them above the majority of their peers and rival agents. To explain this, most agents allow tenant viewings in significant numbers, and then submit a proportion of these to the landlord who then selects who is their "preferred" choice of tenant. This method is subjective and prejudicial, and often a stressful and time-wasting process for many prospective tenants. However, Trafalgar Properties operate a much fairer and simplistic system, whereby if you are among the first to view the property and you want it, you can place a 1 week rent deposit, submit a formal application, and thereby commit to a process of due diligence and credit check, and if this is successful the landlord will accept you as the new tenant. I applaud this process because it allows 1 application per property at one time. The service and communication we received during the whole application process and subsequent signing of formal paperwork was excellent and very helpful. I would highly recommend this agent and will have no hesitation in using them again in the future, if the opportunity arises.

We have rented to homes through Trafalgar and had nothing but problems. Not only are they over-priced but they are extremely unprofessional. No matter how big or small the issue is they will always help a landlord but never a tenant. Our last house had no kitchen floor after a flood - we lived with a concrete down stairs for over 7 months until we moved! Trafalgar ignored our letters and refused to do anything. I would in all honesty rather live in a tent than a house rented through them. there are better agents and I would recommend a private landlord if you can find one. You won't find a company more unprofessional than this one
