I recently moved into a new flat and used Perkins George Mawer & Co. The service I received was fantastic throughout - professional, efficient, timely. I was looked after by one person, Laura, throughout the process who absolutely brilliant at all stages of the process - from arranging the viewing, the viewing, dealing with my daft questions, the paperwork, the inventory and giving me my keys. Really impressive. (Thank you to Laura).

Sammy Mummery was outstanding throughout our rental application and agreement process. She always responded to emails quickly, she was very thorough with all documentation including the inventory report, and she kept us informed every step of the way. Thanks to her efficiency, we were able to secure and move into our new home within just a few weeks of viewing it. Sammy made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and easy. We couldn't recommend her highly enough.

When I first arrived in Market Rasen looking to rent, Lesley Spikings went out of her way to make viewings happen on the day I was there. That was crucial to my securing a great flat. My whole experience of renting first time has been coloured by the gold standard of care of the team there. First Lesley, latterly Sammy Mummery, have always been attentive and prompt to try and sort out issues that arose. Everything is logged on their system to stay on top of chasing contractors, and the contractors they use have always been first rate. Happy tenants is the best way any agent can serve the interests of the landlords that employ them. PGM serve both landlord and tenant with grace and efficiency.

Molly at PGM Market Rasen handled a land purchase for us with aplomb and with persistence (in all the right ways!). We had to delay the process; and PGM coped superbly with the delay. All the details were actioned and resolved by Molly who supported us throughout the purchase. Other reviewers have clearly had similar experiences. We have been delighted by our experience and recommend PGM highly - a gem among the rocks of estate agency!

TrustpilotPoplar Farm (John Casswell) - poor service & landlord behaviour
We rented Poplar Farm, Tealby Road via Perkins George Mawer. There were a number of problems with the property, and our most significant issue was the appalling behaviour of the landlord (John Caswell), this included issuing us with a no fault eviction notice after 9 months of us spending a considerable amount on the property undertaking repairs, improving decoration/condition of the property and paying for several things that were the landlords responsibility. However, Perkins George Mawer contributed to the problems by:1) Issuing an inaccurate inventory on the day we moved in (the property was very dirty, in a poor decorative order and state of disrepair).2) Issuing an F rating EPC certificate on moving into and out of the property, it is illegal to rent a property with an F rating.3) Not informing us of nor holding the landlord to account for the disrepair of the property, excessive costs associated with living in it and complications of shared services with neighbour, including:o business (not residential) rates for watero water metre shared with neighbours (we were not told it was shared and paid for both properties initially)o inefficient boiler with oil leak resulting in over £400 pm costso cesspit blockage resulting in £155 every 2 monthso open electric wiring and electric sockets not working4) Not holding the landlord to account when he refused to take action on things that were his responsibility and that we paid for (smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, ivy blocked gutters, blocked cesspit and unsafe open fires).
