We chose James Sellicks Market Harborough to sell our property in Great Glen and couldn't have asked for a better service from them. We dealt mainly with Hayley throughout the process and found her to be an absolute powerhouse. Her communication was non stop, keeping us up to date with every stage of the process. Chasing us and the others for paperwork wherever and whenever it was required. She was fantastic at badgering the solicitors, who really need someone like Hayley to keep them on target, checking in with us at all times. Anything we needed she responded immediately by email or call and if she had to find out more info for us, she did just as she promised and sorted things straight away. James Sellicks as a whole are a reputable estate agent, with many houses in their portfolio, but Hayley made us feel like we were her only client. A great team at Sellicks, big estate agent quality with small estate agent personal touch!

The property that we wanted to sell was Grade 2 listed, and so we wanted to use an agency that was known locally as a listed building expert. We had also viewed other property to potentially purchase through James Sellicks, so we knew how professional they were at the sales process. A small chain was quickly assembled by Sellicks, all done in a friendly and professional manner. The Oakham branch kept us well informed throughout, and ultimately manouvered the chain to a smooth final Exchange and Completion. So a very big thank you to all at the Oakham office for their support ( particularly Lauren, Henry and Caroline) throughout the process, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Sellicks services to anyone thinking of selling their property.

Leaving review should always be with honesty and how you found something or somebody.. I have to say, I am utterly disappointed with the estate agents this time round, I have bought many properties over the years and in all honesty this one has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. Sharing personal information I think for a start is disgraceful.. Asking for information which was given and then not acting upon it, I find quite Disrespectful! I was asked for some information which I said I would be happy to share with the sad person, but I also asked for this not to be shared as I’ve paid for what they’re going to be receiving from me. Within only a few minutes, my information was then shared with the office! This is information that I asked not to be shared. After finding out this, I then asked the office staff for their input on the information. The email that was sent back was that that wasn’t their department and they would leave it to Charlie.? So if that was the case, then why was my email Of informationforwarded to the office If nothing was going to be done about it.. From what I can see from this transaction is the fact that the estate agents have absolutely zero interest in the buyer certainly in my position.. Buying property is one of the biggest things that we do in our lives and one of the biggest expenses one puts trust in the correct valuations of property in the estate agent, … Reading some of the other reviews it seems like my case was isolated however I feel it’s only necessary to put this in a review for others to see.. My personal experience is I wouldn’t want to deal with this company again ! Just to add to this just over a week ago I emailed into the office for some information. I was contacted straight back and said that they will get back to me by the end of the day still to this day. I’m waiting for that information… Maybe it’s just me, but I find this exceptionally poor, To me, it feels like once you’ve secured a deal you’re not really interested in the buyer no more. The evidence of this is overwhelming. !

I recently sold my property in Hallaton, through James Sellicks Estate Agency in Market Harborough. From my first meeting with them, to their valuation, and sale, the whole process was extremely professional. Their valuation was realistic, and their viewings conducted politely and factually. Poppy and Rita were the main people to show prospective buyers around, and both ensured that they had a good knowledge of the property, so could therefore answer questions. I received email confirmation of viewings, and practically instant feedback. Having had several offers on my property, they managed the potential buyers well. I was informed at every stage, and they remained involved throughout the process, ensuring that from offer, to exchange and completion, every element was covered. They are also a great team, and when one is away/on holiday their emails/calls are always monitored. I would absolutely recommend them.
