Truly awful company to do business with. Used them to try and sell our vacant house when we had moved a long way away. When viewings started being cancelled on the booking app we called for an explanation. Can you believe they had lost the house keys! They never called to tell us this, and dare they deny this as phone records proved it. When, where, how long for? They had no answer. They appear to have no key security system in the office. They just asked if we could get some more cut! We requested payment to cover replacement locks I had fitted by a neighbour at cost but all they offered was to get a couple of new keys cut. Not until we had exhausted their complaints system with the next stage going to the Ombudsman, they payed up, and quote " we dont want to waste any more time on the issue" Complaint still lodged with the ombudsman which I cant go into until investigated. Be warned, you sign up with them, you are locked in for 20 weeks unlike other agents where you are free to leave at any time. 20 weeks is a long time to have to stay with a shambles of an outfit. They talk the talk but wow, they are so poor. Total disregard for the the security of our property, losing keys and not changing locks invalidates most insurances. Went to another agent in Thirsk, world's apart in service.Truly awful, they are extremely obnoxious when you make a complaint, especially Andy in Thirsk and the owner Chris. As soon as theres a problem., they show their true colours. Avoid, theres so much better to choose from in Thirsk.

We transferred to Fine and Country after not being successful sailing with another agent. Our first agent from F&C left and then Graham Howell came to visit us. Right from the start we warmed to him as he was genuine and interested in not just our house but the story behind it which made a HUGE difference to him being able to present it to prospective buyers. He was sympathetic to my situation with my husband abroad and me selling alone. He arranged an ‘Open House’ and was successful in bringing genuinely interested people to view. He kept me informed throughout so I felt that he was actively seeking securing a sale. A beautiful brochure was produced which has been a great memento of our home of 26 years. The successful sale secured a good price for us but was also fair to the buyer whom Graham was sympathetic and caring to also. Graham really is a great ambassador for Fine and Country - a good salesman but one with integrity and honesty.

Graham is a truly dynamic real estate agent, he definitely thinks outside of the box in terms of his approach and marketing. He uses all strands of marketing from established ways to sell a home to up to date social media which includes his ability to reach out to internet property influencers to market your property. I could go on and on explaining my valued experiences of using Graham and Fine and Country but I’ll leave it with the paragraph below…. If I had settled on the first agents who gave their opinion of the value of my home I would have been £420,000 out of pocket compared with the sale price Graham achieved. Yes £420,000 !!!! Just purchased a lovely property in Bulkington and was amazed and grateful for all the support Graham provided throughout the process. When my family and I first met Graham at the property he left an excellent impression on us. His passion and enthusiasm was very evident as he showed us around property. His depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the property left us wondering if he actually owned the property himself! Additionally, Graham was superb in his negotiating skills during the offering process: This enabled us to get us to an agreed sale price very quickly. Once we instructed our solicitors, Graham supported both parties, acting as a mutual and honest broker to allow us to exchange contracts within 4 weeks; which was absolutely fantastic.
