Honestly, there's only one word to describe my experience with Savills, PERFECT!!! Initially searching for a place while trying to move to Manchester was so disastrous it moved me to tears, but when I booked a viewing with Savills and I met Alastair McNair things turned around. Alastair reassured me that he would do his very best to ensure I got the place I wanted and HE DID!!!. The property Savills was offering was my last hope as the market was very dry and I needed to move ASAP. So when I finally moved in it was like a dream. Alastair's customer service is second to none, soo much that I recommend a friend to him. Housing is nuts in Manchester at the moment, but that didn't stop Ben and his team making me and my partner feel special. The rental process was a breeze, and anything we've needed support with has been dealt with in a really professional manner. What makes this team stand out more than ever is the little things, they moved mountains to get us a viewing urgently, kept us updated during the application (without us needing to chase) and they see you as a customer in which they want to keep your business, unlike some other firms in the city, which just see you as a burden.

My housemate and I had spent a long time searching for a flat in Manchester and then came across the perfect flat advertised by Savills. After a call with the Manchester office, we were able to give our details to Claire who got in contact with me via WhatsApp. She was able to provide us with all the information we needed including pictures of the flat. Claire was there to help us through the whole process as we had only had experience with student renting in the past. Claire was excellent throughout the process and was always happy to answer our questions no matter how silly they seemed to us at the time. She really helped to settle all worries we had even when we had a few issues through the process. Overall, I would really recommend Claire and the Savills Manchester office. Great service, very responsible and professional, definitely recommend Savills. I would like to thank Ryan Griffin & Emma Neary at the Manchester office for helping me and my wife get our first home. Especially Ryan, who has been outstanding and we feel if it wouldn't be for him and his efforts the deal would not go through and we would not get the flat of our dreams. Even though Ryan represented the sellers, he has been very helpful and professional throughout this thought process. While our own lawyers hardly ever responded and wasted time, Ryan and Savills always responded, helped and pushed for the deal to complete. Ryan was always on time, chased our lawyers when they abandoned us, suggested a great bank broker when our bank failed to deliver, chased the sellers when we needed documents or needed some additional information. Honestly, Ryan made the difference and I'm sure without his help the purchase of our first home would have failed. When looking for property in Manchester City Centre we were shown a flat by Savills. We first dealt with Clare and then Ryan as we viewed the property a few times. Both were excellent. Knowledge, friendly and very professional they were able to answer all our questions as well as talking openly and honestly about the property and the area. During the process of putting an offer in Ryan was brilliant and kept us fully up to date. Unfortunately we didn’t end up Purchasing the property but came away full of admiration. My over three (3) years’ experience with Savills (formerly Case McNair) was delightful. Anam is amazingly professional, prompt, truly helpful and diligent. Not once was I left with an unresolved concern, even when she ceased being my property manager. This is no exaggeration. Every encounter with Ryan was met with a smile. Ryan is punctual, attentive and patient. I recall the few times there were delays, on my part, in sending across my signed tenancy agreement resulted in kind reminders and not more. Ryan Griffin was absolutely amazing from start to finish in the sale of our two apartments. From arranging and hosting an extremely successful open day, securing offers over asking price for both properties, right through to liaising with all solicitors and parties involved on our behalf, ensuring completion took place as early as possible. Claire in particular has been absolutely lovely in dealing with what was quite a stressful situation in the crossover between moving out of my house and buying another. When we had a single bedroom apartment to sell in Manchester we expected it to be difficult because of the excess of flats from landlord sell-offs and newbuilds. Our flat was special to us because it enabled our son to manage health issues and work in a safe environment and we hoped that it could be sold to someone who would appreciate it. A penthouse location with panoramic views and very quiet, 24 hour concierge and just five minute walk to the University and science park and the Royal Infirmary and the Northern school of music within 15 minutes. A very unusual feature was having a restricted lease reducing student occupation to family members Ryan Griffin came to do the valuation and immediately we saw that he appreciated the importance of the apartments to us and its distinctive qualities. Rather than just estate agent platitudes he outlined the specific buyer we needed and a practical plan to achieve our aspirations. He organised a special photographer and priority advertising online and on Savills vast network abroad. Ryan and his colleague Valentin Nedea kept us well informed every few days about interest in the property and carefully vetted viewings. But they were far more than simply property salesmen, they both showed amazing patience with us, spending time to ensure that we understood any complications when they arose, inevitable in a big city were land has a long history and primary leaseholders are unresponsive shell companies. We are particularly indebted to Ryan for using his local knowledge to obtain written documentation required by the solicitors. I am neither young (75years) nor wealthy, and giving our son this opportunity to further his experience and future independence was at times scary; buying during Covid and then selling as our remortgage interest rate made big holes in my pension. We are indebted to Ryan, Valentin and their support colleagues in Savills Manchester office for guiding us through this important step in our families journey.
