GoogleThey don't deserve a star. Lead us on, took our holding fee £103 each then declined our application and kept the money. I did have one late payment on my previous property, however this was payed in full and was due to a family matter. Me and my friend were desperate for a place because our contract had ran out in our other accomodation and so consequently ended up having to pay for hotels! I'd have had no issue at all if they declined us and refunded our fees, instead they kept the lot. Pure cupidity!

GoogleWe rented from Sam Properties for 2 1/2 years. During that time we found them quick to respond to issues and helpful. Having moved out, they proactively chased us to give back our deposit! One star off because some charges are a little irritating (e.g. paying £50 to renew a contract when it requires nothing more than changing a date), but that's pretty typical estate agent fare. Overall, probably my best ever estate agency experience!

GoogleI viewed a property at the weekend from this estate agency, I was very disappointed and utterly shocked. The property hadn't been cleaned from the previous tenants even though the properly was listed as being available on the 1st July. The property was damp smelling, unkept and there was a massive poo in the toilet. I am very dissapointed and can't quite believe the property was left in this state.

Living with no hot water for quite some time with nobody coming out to fix it then being told that this was a 'human error' and they are sorry, for them to then charge me 130 pounds for cleaning fees which is absolutely ridiculous as I cleaned the flat to the best of my ability with no hot water. MONEY GRABBING.

They have been quick to respond to any queries we had during our tenancy and the maintenance team were quick deal with any issues we reported with our property (though there were not many issues to report during our stay).
Overall we were happy with the property and their service.

GoogleThe property was really nice, hence why we moved in, however the estate agency were awful. They tried to charge us £100 for cleaning when moving out, even though we cleaned the flat. Once we disputed it they instantly reduced it to £30, clearly showing they were just trying to get money out of us.
