GoogleWe have been working with Ellie Machon at JT to place our apartment at the Dock Office development in Salford Quays on the market. Ellie has been most helpful in putting the marketing pack together, taking pictures that show off our flat to best effect & advising us on the price we should be looking for based upon market conditions. All in all the service has been great.

GoogleGreat experience buying our first home through Julie Twist. Rebecca was our initial contact and was there throughout the whole process. She was good at keeping us up to date and making contact with the developer who was difficult to get in contact with. Paul also assisted later in the process and both were very responsive and helpful. Thanks guys!

Sian and Yvonne were both very efficient and professional, they made the move in process really smooth for us and we couldn’t be happier! This is a genuine review based on my very recent dealing with Julie Twist. I have not been offered any incentives or payments for this review, I was not prompted to leave the review, I am doing it out of my own free will as I'd like to share my experience with this agency.I am a landlady and I have recently dealt with Julie Twist to rent out my home for the first time. This agency was not the only one that I made enquiries with at the beginning. For each and everyone I looked for reviews and done my research. Out of all of them, I trusted my gut instinct and moved forward with Julie Twist as I felt that they listened to me and had in mind my aims, they were not trying to push for me to take up hundreds of services etc. I believe they were fair.The communication between us very good, (email communication was faster than the phone and I truly understand why. I also work with clients and it's a lot easier to write an email than have phone conversations that need to be documented later). We had a clear understanding of what I wanted to achieve and what they were able to provide. When I was a little stuck with anything they assisted. I found them very friendly and easy to work with, Sian in particular was very helpful. Everything went smooth and to the point. In my opinion, we worked well together.I have also read the other reviews here and few people found Julie Twist staff rude and unprofessional. This has not been my experience, on the contrary.

GoogleHad a viewing today at one of their properties in ancoats (15/01/23) unfortunately no one showed up. My wife waited approximately 40 min at the property for someone to show up and start the viewing but no one came… When contacting the agency they we’re unable to help and told us just keep waiting! Very disappointed with how they go about their business. EDIT: Please do not blame my wife! She was at the building entrance. She asked multiple people that were walking in and out of the building if she was in the right place and they confirmed that she was. Mistakes can be made but don’t try to pawn the blame to us…
Hi Zana, I'm terribly sorry to see this review. We had a number of viewings at the property on Sunday, so my colleague was definitely at the location. Our office presence is closed on a Sunday so you would have been speaking with our out of office messaging service. I'm aware of some construction at the site, so it's likely that unfortunately your wife had missed the meeting place for my colleague. Please call the office on 0161 834 8486 to discuss this further and we will offer another viewing opportunity before submitting the offers. My colleague confirmed she had spoken to your wife on the phone and asked her to wait where she was as she was in the correct place, your wife then later confirmed she had walked around the building to try and find our viewer and it seems at this point they have missed each other. We definitely do not blame your wife, these things can happen unfortunately and we would still love to offer the opportunity for you to view.

GoogleMy partner and I began the process of purchasing a home with Julie Twist earlier this year and found them on the whole to be extremely helpful and professional estate agents. Our points of contact were Will, Paul and Rebecca and from the start they were able to show us properties that were in our price range and to our liking. When we put in an offer they put us at ease in what was a high-pressure situation for us. They were extremely accommodating with allowing us access to extra viewings of our chosen property post-offer, provided us details to help us with enquiries and surveys, and displayed patience throughout the long purchasing process. Unfortunately due to personal reasons we were unable to complete our purchase but the Sales department were again very accommodating and understanding. I would definitely recommend them to other first-time buyers.

Went in to the deansgate shop and managed to get a viewing for a place a couple days later, they’ve been easy to get a hold of on the phone and via emails which is amazing as trying to rent somewhere in Manchester at the moment is super competitive and we had struggled getting through to other estate agents prior to these. Very happy that we got a rental through them, it’s been stress free :) I think it’s been Sian and Darren helping us til now and they have both been great !

GoogleBrilliant with the way they handled the sale. Was very supportive and gave a plan to help keep you on track. Patient too and understood the difficulties faced at times regarding mortgage etc. Will helped with the initial process of the sale and was very helpful and clear, Paul dealt with the later stages and was great and keeping in touch and handled the sale in a professional manner. Even though our purchase fell through for reasons out of our and Julie twists control I would 100% recommend using Julie Twist, no complaints.

UPDATE: TDS considered the evidences and judged we win! Julie Twist you are wrong! You received nothing from US! STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE!----------------------------------------------------------------------What a scam company!!!At the end of the tenancy, we were told by Kelly Davenport that one off cost of GBP 126 (GBP 140 with 10% off discount) to clean the whole house including flooring and carpet, but excluding the electric appliances. After cleaning, they charged us GBP 288 and said that we've misinterpreted her meaning.In fact, there is absolutely no misinterpretation. We asked directly about what's included in the GBP140 package and she answered directly that everything is included except the electric appliance.
We would like to thank you for your review There were a number of emails back and forth concerning the end of tenancy clean and the cleaning that you asked to be carried out. You had received a copy of the cleaning charges with your confirmed vacating letter. As part of the clean you requested for the carpets to be professionally cleaned. The cleaning charges clearly shows that a professional carpet clean is an additional cost. However, we understand that from the wording of an email exchange noted that a reference was made that the general clean would include flooring and carpets although did not specifically state that this meant vacuuming, mopping etc. Due to this a dispute has been raised with TDS for an arbitrator to review the file and make a final decision on their view of the wording.
