Having a horrible bad experience with Hunters. Very very unprofessional. We got this tenancy on 10th February 2016 from another agency and Hunters took over them. Though having a faulty Bed from very begining and reporting them from very early ,also from which i myself fall down and almost broke my back after complaining through calls , emails all i get an answer that the owner doesnt want to change it. So , does they need 3 months to reply you back. Also have a few more faults in my flat. But they only have excuses for all those. They are not prompt with things. The only things have recieved is stress and discomfort.

started out pretty good but went rapidly downhill. Was dealing with Claudette from the deansgate office. When our offer was accepted It I said it would be good to get a look at the furniture at some stage so that we could let the tenants take what they would like when they move out in case we didnt require it. Claudette took it upon herself to arrange the date and time with the tenants but forgot to inform me nor did she forward me any contact details. She phoned my girlfriend one day out of the blue saying that the tenants were very upset that we didnt meet them and they had sat in one saturday waiting for us. I called her back and when she eventually took my call I told her that she didnt tell me of any meeting apart from initially saying that we should have one. THis caused many problems with the tenants refusing to let surveyors into the apartment etc. Claudette accepted no responsibility for this and didnt make thing right with the tenants until I had to phone her manager to sort it out. When I collected the Keys I asked one of the letting agents about rates and was told that she would be in touch but didnt hear anything back from her either. Rubbish, unprofessional and will never use again.

i was recently involved in considering a purchase through Hunters regarding an apartment for sale in prestwich . despite the fact that there were untold issues with the vendor and ridiculous proposals being made by the vendor i found ian barber from Hunters to be exemplary in the way he conducted himself . He is demonstrated outstanding professionalism and it was a pleasure to deal with him. thanks for all your assistance . even though i did not end up making a purchase Hunters made a lasting impression on me.

I'm delighted with the apartment I just purchased through Hunters.. I just wanted to thank them for their help and support on the purchase. They have consistently gone above and beyond on a challenging purchase and I don't think we would have got there without them. I have worked with a few estate agents in the past couple of years and I must say Hunters Manchester and Claudette have out-shone them all. Those people are disgusting!!!! Today we have appointment to view one of places, we got to the address and wait on rain under the doors in some shi*hole and they said that this place is somewhere else, agent decided to go home and did not wait few minutes for us (6 minutes!!!)They were rude and disgusting! I wonder do they treat this way all of customers. I hope I will have nothing to do with them!

Hunters are the only letting and sales agents in Manchester I would recommend. After a bad experience with a previous agent in Manchester, I chose Hunters to find a new tenant and manage my property. I found their service to be professional and efficient. When I came to sell the property, Claudette Cole managed the whole process brilliantly and very professionally. In fact she probably prevented the sale from falling through. I would definitely recommend Hunters for both sales and lettings..

I appointed Hunters to help me sell my apartment last year. Both Claudette and Mark have been extremely busy and helpful from beginning to end, and brought in many viewings which led to a few interests even with the occasional 1 or 2 buyers being no shows. They both keep on top of things pretty well and I didn't have to chase anything up, more they were chasing me! They lie and cheat to impress for their own gain. Mis advice vendors to sell to buyers who are friends/associates. Dont waste your time and emotions I did. I would highly recommend Hunters. Ian Barber came to see the property I was selling and of all the agents that came I was most impressed with him. It may be cheaper to sell using an online agent, but my property had viewings lined up very quickly and I had an offer after just one week after Hunters advertised the property for sale. Data Breach !

I enquired about a house and have been added illegally to a mailing list. I complained and asked to be removed twice, was told they never added me (though the emails added me 1 day after my 1 ever enquiry to this company) and they have yet to remove me. Companies like this should not be trusted, they are taking your data and will spam you !

It was a refreshing change dealing with Hunters. As we had suffered a lot with another agency in Manchester recently. We were in touch with Claudette from Hunters Deans gates office. She is proactive and very professional. We were provided right and timely update at every step. Never had to call them to forward any documents to our solicitors or mortgage agent. All documents were timely posted and received. I will strongly recommend Hunters.
