TrustpilotBridgfords Denton
Cant recommend Bridgfords Denton enough. Bought through them recently. The team were so helpful throughout. Great communication, nothing was too much trouble. Aldo used their mortgage advisor, Gemma. She was fantastic. Never dealt with a broker like her! She went through the whole process in detail and always on hand to answer any questions I had! Many thanks to Ryan, Stacey, Adam and Gemma. You guys made what could have been a stressful so smooth!

TrustpilotApalling handling of my mother-in-laws…
Apalling handling of my mother-in-laws property. Took a massive %age of the rent, did nothing for the money, never communicated, never responded to messages or calls, left us with a squatting tennant for over a year after being serviced notice, never checked the property properly, never followed up on the deposit so we lost that as well. One star is far too much to give them. I suggest you never consider using this company.

Trustpilot4th tennant same issues- damp, mould, negligence
I am the forth tennant leaving my current rental property with the same letting agency and landlord due to the same issues. Mold, damp, negligence and conditions quite frankly not fit for living. I'm breaking my tenancy agreement with permission of the landlord, however never expected to be hit with Bridgfords re-housing fee because quite frankly didn't expect bridgfords to take on this property with a now fifth tennant following years of the same issues not fixed. The 95 year old landlord lord is maybe not able to care for this property but I'm not reviewing him right now. There's something really sinister about a company needing capital gain to the degree that they are willing to miss sell and mislead another tennant into this property a fifth time. Please please stay away.Edit- just noticed that they have a new tennant already from a video viewing alone. Pictures posted of the property are from years ago. Next tennant likely spun the same lines as me, "we are so busy with viewings on this property it's so desirable we can't possibly fit you in, take the video viewing and we advise you to go for it within the next 24 hours before it gets snapped up" there have been no physical viewings of this property whilst I have been here. This is miss selling and pressure sell tactics. The next person will likely have had to pay the same heavy holding fee as me, there rent has gone up by £50 and their deposit by £200 from the 7 month's when I came in with minimal work done on the neglected property. This company is predatory.

TrustpilotChris Parkin was my mortgage broker
Chris Parkin was my mortgage broker, really helpful I had been told from another company that I would not be able to get a mortgage, Chris went above and beyond to make it happen. We had issues with the lender taking unnecessary time on some issues Chris chased them everyday and I am now in my lovely new home. I will definitely recommend Chris in the future.

made me complete 5 recaptchas to unsubscribe from their spammy emails. this is a tactic to waste people's time so they give up and stay signed up to emails. why would I need to prove my identity to unsubscribe from emails? even a hacker would have better things to do

TrustpilotJust don't waste your time
If you want a company of people with minimal care for you and the process, who don't do what they tell you they are going to do, and then when you're trying to find out where things are up to, never answer the phone, Bridgfords are the one.

TrustpilotLack of communication, unethical and unprofessional Practices
I had a very disappointing experience with [Agency Name]. I initially booked a viewing for a flat that was on sale, only to find out the appointment was cancelled because the flat was sold, and they forgot to inform me.Giving them another chance, I booked a viewing for another property. However, they insisted that I use their mortgage advisor even though I already had one and an Agreement in Principle. When I refused to change my mortgage advisor, they immediately cancelled my viewing appointment. This kind of behaviour is unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

TrustpilotI was looking for a one bed flat and…
I was looking for a one bed flat and somehow I was transferred to Dan Mooney, He took two days to get the information about tenants and then email addresses and after he said the property has been rented out. Whenever you try to call him, he doesn’t pick up and anyone who picks up, they don’t want to transfer the call to him, I am from London and now I know why Manchester has a bad reputation, and no work ethics. Avoid this estate agent, and Dan Mooney,

TrustpilotIllegal practices
Illegal practices! Referred to the Property Ombudsman because contract was completed by manager, Tammi, and not ourselves, meaning we incurred hundreds of pounds of additional costs. Additional problems included; no marketing of the property, little, if any, communication. Should have gone to any of the other local estate agents.

TrustpilotAshley - Great Sankey
Ashley, at the Sankey Branch, was brilliant! My offer was confirmed in August 21 and after many date changes I pulled out when the vendors wanted a 'provisional' completion of April 22! Through all that time Ashley kept me up to date and went above and beyond to try and get the sale to completion. She is a credit to Bridgfords

TrustpilotReliable and helpful
This is a great agency: they put us in touch with our new landlords and were very helpful every step of the way (special thanks to Ash!). They were always easy to reach, responsive and polite. When we arrived at the new place we had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. Thanks for everything, Bridgfords!

TrustpilotAwful service and expensive fees. Landlords should use someone else.
Been with Bridgfords for a few months and cant really give positive feedback back on any part of their service. They are slow to respond, aggressive and generally useless. Their service centre is completely separate from the lettings team which results on breakdown in communication and poor service. They are great at selling their service to entice you in then run a mile once you are signed up.

TrustpilotIllegal
They will call you in and tell you to speak to their mortgage advisor who then tells you that he can get you the property if you sign up with them for £660+ non refundable, he will use their own solicitors too. My wife and I asked what about the other bidders and he said, the vendor won’t see those bids don’t worry. This is completely illegal and we walked away, he then said you are willing to walk away from this deal and get outbid. I said yes I would rather lose out on 20k than give you one penny. It’s kickbacks galore in that place and we know full well we will now not get that property. I would love to speak to the person selling the house but they have moved abroad and left these clowns in charge.

TrustpilotBridgfords letting Manchester…
Bridgfords letting Manchester…IF YOU ARE A LANDLORD PLEASE AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AS YOUR LETTING AGENCY.I’ve seen many landlords complain that they are not getting any viewings or any tenants. This is not due to your house trust me, It is due to the fact that you are using Bridgeford lettings.Me as a renter l personally would never make the mistake of renting another property that is managed by Bridgeford lettings. They are honestly so completely rude I could not believe it was a real company that I was dealing with. Paul Craffey from the branch in Manchester should honestly be fired. He makes a show of the company. All staff follow after him with his disgusting attitude. Not to add they also do not care about the property, the landlord, nor the tenant.they are just there to finish their shift and go you can tell by the way all of them behave. I can assure you not even one of their employees are trained in customer service it’s so sad.

GoogleI had a positive experience with Jevita regarding my letting - she went out of her way to ensure I would be at my property on the planned date despite unforeseen delays which I really appreciate. I would recommend to my friends who are also looking for properties locally. Thank you 😊 …
