GoogleHaving been the first person to offer the full asking price for a property (16/5/17), I would have hoped that my offer would have been taken seriously, however this is far from truth. I was never contacted personally nor was I sent any emails to be informed that my offer had been rejected. I eventually found out that my offer was rejected when the property status on a popular property website was changed to `Sold STC` (around 20/5/17).
Was this the only time they failed to contact me? No, I called on the 18/5/17 and I was promised a call with further updates regarding my offer later that afternoon, however the call never came.
We contacted the Dylan Davies to definitively find out the status of the offer, and spoke to a different member of staff regarding the offer. According to the notes on file a voice mail was left on my mobile. After checking do you find I could find this voicemail? No.

Hello Claire, I'm sorry to read your review especially as we tried very hard to help you and your brother secure buying this property after you approached the seller directly. If you recall, we tried very hard (7 times) to contact your brother who was revealed as the actual buyer (not yourself). Despite our attempts to speak directly to your brother we could not reach him until it was too late and in during this time another buyer made an acceptable offer on the property.
The old lady who inherited the property following her Mothers recent passing felt a little intimidated by you approaching her directly and the offers you were making directly to her were much lower than the advertised asking price. She started to feel very awkward and felt as though you were trying to take advantage of her whilst she was in a vulnerable state following her Mothers death. Our vendor informed you that your offers were too low and that you must make your offers via our agency because we were acting as her selling agent and all negotiations must go through our agency because we had been appointed by the solicitors dealing with her late Mothers probate.
We would be very happy to discuss this matter further with you and hope you are able to find an alternative property to purchase soon.
