All the staff at Nock Deighton, and particularly our lead agent, Abigail Anderson, have been fantastic. From the outset everyone was professional, efficient, friendly and helpful. As a non-standard property, the marketing was excellent and the team were effective in targeting and contacting possible purchasers. Once we had a sale, they were diligent in ensuring it got over the line, patiently encouraging and cajoling the other parts of the chain below us to fall into line. Abi has been tremendously supportive and helpful, and has the patience of a saint to deal effectively with the problems created by others in the chain.

Selling a house is supposed to be stressful but with Nock Deighton it has been easy. Corabeth Bishop came to see me and explained everything very clearly and was a pleasure to deal with as is Abigail Anderson, she is delightful, and very helpful. The brochure was very good, and I accepted an offer 15 days after it was put on the market! Abigail Anderson & Claire Messenger could not have been more supportive and helpful. With buyers who proved to be difficult, they were both patient, informative and worked tirelessly on my behalf. I happily could recommend Nock Deighton and especially Abigail!

Disappointing. I was not advised about different rates of commission, a main sales feature i.e. potential for a holiday let was missed, there were numerous errors in the first two brochures. e.g. Storeys spelt as 'stories.' Lights were left on after a viewing despite my request to switch them off. ND lost my front door key. I needed to request reimbursement for a replacement key. I had to chase for replies to emails. There were no ‘away from my desk,’ notices when staff were unavailable. The website opening time was wrong as staff were in meetings at 9am with no cover staff for phones. Staff contradicted each other. I was told a viewing had been cancelled, when it had been delayed for an hour. Staff did not pass on my messages to other staff correctly. A member of staff was 25 minutes late for a viewing with me on a property. I drew the manager’s attention to the above and asked for £100 reduction in the £3,000 fee, for poor service. A deduction of £50 was made which, whilst appreciated was disproportionate to the inconvenience, added stress and time unnecessarily wasted. I would not use Nock Deighton again.

From the Get-Go we both thought we were in the hands of a professional team at the Ludlow branch of Nock Deighton... we weren't wrong. The whole team have treated us with friendliness and professionalism. Our home is a hidden gem in Ludlow and Isobel totally got my style of decor, not everyone does. Follow-up calls to people viewing the property were a lovely touch keeping us in the loop of the feedback. We have now sold STC and have been handed over to the the main offices of Nock Deighton. Although we are assured we can still contact the team in Ludlow, I for one feel bereft! Many thanks to Chris and the team, hand on heart we both will and already have, recommended Nock Deighton to our chums.

Selling one's home is a stressful process, especially in the period of the pandemic, but Chris Kemp and in particular Laura McCord helped us through the process. It is important to be kept abreast of information affecting the sale and Laura promptly returned our phone calls and did her best to keep us informed. Slawek Lalewski was also extremely efficient and responsive to our queries along with Debbie Perrott. We had a large number of viewings which was encouraging but the advertising material set people's expectations at a very high level and in retrospect there were several viewers who could have been filtered out. I would also like to mention Ashleigh Dunn, our sales progressor who had to struggle with our demands for progress reports and uncommunicative solicitors. We wanted to move to Ludlow and the one and only property we liked was with Nock Deighton. I contacted them and they arranged a viewing of the property which was done with the owner. We immediately put our house in Bristol on the market and sold quickly so put in an offer on our dream property which was accepted. Abigail was looking after us during the whole process and she was great at getting back to our emails, questions etc. As anybody knows that has moved house it’s not an easy process, especially when you’re moving out of your familiar area but Abigail made it smooth and relatively painless so we’d like to say thank you.

Firstly they helped us to secure us a fantastic rental property in Ludlow and then complete on a lovely property in Lydbury North. We think it's fair to say the purchase of the property in Lydbury North is up there on the list of difficult and at times bizarre transactions we have ever come across. So much so the elderly owner even suggested moving in with us! Debbie and Laura's support was absolutely key in completing on this property and we are sure that without their help this would surely have fallen through.
